Seriously D-Town, have your tap water checked.

Or bottle it and send it my way, so I can be so CrAzY too.

This insanity neglects to mention the single most pertinent fact--NE failed to cover.

Why the hell would anyone care if the Colts "threw" the game but the opponent still didn't cover?

The only people it could have possibly mattered to are a small percentage that may have somehow parlayed the game down to 3.5 pts.

I dont think there's any question that certain teams (Pats, Colts & Steelers) year after year get alot of preferential treatment from the zebras, but what you posted is proposterus

I wish the mods would be more liberal with the bannings.

I dont buy it for a second. If the fix was in teams like the Eagles and Vikings who have been in the league forever would have won a Super Bowl by now. Why would Arizona go along with fixing games if they are going to be the laughing stocks of the league every year? It would only make sense that they would get a chance to make a run at some point in the last 30 years. Just makes absolutely no sense.

Not to mention the fact that the Colts had almost every call possible go their way in that game.

What is the name of the mobster who would call Howard Stern?

I remember him saying Vegas fixed all big games in sports and the leagues were in on it.

He stated the refs were used for the most part to control outcomes.

many many old timers say its definitely fixed.i can see it both ways.same with the nba, rasheed wallace said its like the wwf.lol.

Just a little thing called revenue sharing. Without it Arizona Cardinals probably wouldn't exist never mind be playing to win.

It certainly would be interesting to watch those who are betting and making the most money to see if there are patterns. Especially when large amounts of money are being gambled.

Since I don't know a whole lot about gambling, that's the only way that I can see to verify such a theory.

Some supposed mobster shooting his mouth off on Howard Stern doesn't carry that much weight with me. He might not be a mobster, he might not know much about gambling (except by listening to other guys who don't know much beyond mouthing off), he might have personal, business, or psychological reasons to exaggerate or even lie. I would imagine that working for the mob could make one excessively cynical, as well.

i definetly think the nfl wants the pats to win it all and go perfect. but i don't think it's to the extent of throwing games. I do think the nfl shows favoritism though. remember the 2005 postseason. they tried to screw the steelers against the colts. than they screwed the seahawks against the steelers. either way it all comes down to money.

Must be Las Vegas New Mexico. Boomtown, baby.
