That drove me crazy. Please stop.

Don't worry, Earl Thomas is not falling all the way to Philly:crossed:

I already have one gentleman's bet with you that Jax won't take Tebow in Rd1. Don't make me take easy money again.:)

So youre saying its not worth ET being on the board for Philly just so theres no chance they take him? Even if we dont get a shot at him? :D

Does make some sense. Then wed all have to start hating him

No, what I'm saying is ET will be long gone before the Eagles pick and way out of the Cowboys price range. The only player Dallas might move for is Iupati and it's going to have to be a perfect storm.

I think we'd have to move ahead of Houston to even have a remote shot at ET....but players drop every year, so you never know.

Patrick Robinson.

This. Or Benn. There's going to be a quality player at #27. There's no worst case scenario in which we end up with a dud. I'll take Mays and his potential at #27, but then again I'm not one of the Mays haters. He looks like a guy that has a very high ceiling, and if our coaching staff thinks enough of him to draft him I'd have a hard time arguing with them.

Jesus, or Campbell. He's got tremendous potential. Why on Earth do you want to move up for Earl Thomas when we can sit back and get a quality player at #27 without costing us a mid-round pick?

100% if they cant trade down that pick is Golden Tate. Other options could be Benn, D. Thomas, Patrick Robinson or Nate Allen. Theres going to be a very good player at 27.

I dont think they value Dan Williams like most of these other teams b/c we have our nose.

They might not, but if he's there and the others are gone, I'd take him and make the most of it.

We could do all kinds of mixing and matching to take advantage of picking him and help keep Ratliff fresh. And who knows? Ratliff could end up playing end some if Williams proves worthy of getting on the field more. I know Ratliff's reticent about playing end and is great at nose, but whatever makes the team the best is what I want.

I admit to being wary of Mays and Campbell, but if that's the direction Dallas chooses to go, I'd certainly hope for the best. I think the guys I listed are safer bets to succeed, but you never know.

Why would Dallas even consider trading up esp already short one pick? Someone will fall to us that is worth a pick at 27. They shouldn't be locked into one guy. They can probably drop a few picks and still get the same value.
