that's acceptable, now its time to make a splash,, I love TC.He has shown he can tackle in special teams.
All of you are Johnny come lately's
@casmith07 was the first on this board to recognize his true talent as a starting QB for the Cowboys
Let's give credit where credit is due
You are reaching at best. Showers isn't a QB any more and he never will be.Yes, this thread is intended to discuss Jamiell Showers as a possible option at QB due to his similar skill set as Daks. Yet, I respectfully disagree that Kaps personal agenda or 'baggage', as I so eloquently put it, is irrelevant. Kap has been linked as a 'Great' fit by the national media and I might have agreed if it wasn't for the baggage that goes along with him, as he has a similar skill set also and has proven he can play in this league. I'm personally tired of the Circus and mockery the media loves to stir up about Dallas every chance they get, which I believe is the only reason they'd love to see him here. With the exception of Gregory, Dallas has been doing a great job of picking level headed, reliable, college team captains that we can count on to play on Sunday's. Character guys are highly considered.. which is why players like Joe Mixon's value fall in the draft, Greg Hardy's baggage surfaced, Joseph Randle is presently in jail.. I have my opinions, but that's all they will be.. opinions. The Cowboys stay under the microscope, so yes, Kaps baggage is relevant.

I couldn't tell you who it was. But to be fair, everybody including the Cowboys were wrong about Dak. Had the Cowboys been right, they likely would have drafted him 4th overall instead of Zeke. Of course, I'm elated it worked out the way it did.Wasn't that Broaddus muddying the water? His early Dak assessments were brutal and very inaccurate.
The link I posted in my in my previous post is currently on DC.com. So safety is his present position. He was previously moved from safety to QB out of necessity after losing Kellen Moore to a broken leg at training camp and then kept there longer than planned when Romo went down in the last preseason game. With Dak at the QB helm and the return of Kellen Moore and even rumors of Romo making a comeback if needed, the necessity to use Showers no longer exists. As the article that I linked to explains, Showers no longer eats like a QB.Oh I'm sure it's a reach. But Dallas has moved this kid to Safety, then said he would have a chance to compete at QB last year and ultimately was moved back to Safety. So, they obviously like him and doing what they can to give him the best opportunity to succeed. It wouldn't surprise anyone if he changed positions again. Needless to say, this is a open discussion, not a declaration of what's happening. Just passing time during the slow times of the offseason, but thanks for the insight.
I agree but to be even more fair lol, Broaddus MO is to crap on any player he doesn't like until it becomes impossible to do so. IMO, If it was up to Broaddus Dak would have never got a shot. At least the Cowboys analyzed why they failed to realize the greatness of Dak. I think that analysis of their philosophy helped them in our recent draft.I couldn't tell you who it was. You also have to take in consideration that there is a difference between the scout Broaddus and the journalist Broaddus. Whereas, at one time his job depended on being right about a player, now it only depends on rather or not he entertains. Being that his function is different it can at times cloud his judgement.I agree but to be even more fair lol, Broaddus MO is to crap on any player he doesn't like until it becomes impossible to do so. It's like Keith Smith last year, we will see what he brings out there. Hope things go well for him.
