The Four Horsemen Of The Dallas Cowboys Apocalypse

[MarionBarberThe4th]

That last sentence says it all. “The apocalypse isn’t coming to Dallas. It’s been here for 30 years.”

JJ suffocates this franchise with his obsessive insecurities that will not allow anyone else to play an independent and powerful role in this organization. By serving as owner, president and GM, he continually sets his prize possession up for failure.

Years from now Jerry will serve as a cautionary tale of hubris, arrogance and self absorption. Hopefully his children will be able to release the death grip it has on this once great franchise.

Yea yikes huh.

So by crunch time the personality of the team seems to be of slot of standing around.

I give Jerry credit for that but there’s 30+ years of rust on those Lombardi trophies.

Truth, Jerry just needs to recognize his limitations!

Love me some Jimi and Along the Watchtower, where he plays both the lead and bass.

Jimi’s solos in Watchtower are amazing and the wah and his slide work provide excellent contrast. But the studio version of “Red House” is my favorite Jimi solo!

Lol, that use to be Pappy, Mountain, Acr731 & Khiladi, along with a few associates. But 2 are missing in action.

No horsemen here, just 7 deadly sins. >.>

The 4 horsemen of the Cowboys apocalypse is this thread up above us saying things are changing.

Man between the original OP and the comments so far thanks for taking all my jumbled thoughts regarding this once proud franchise in such a concise way.

Every other smart franchise is doing everything they can in hopes of finding the next Ben Johnson or Kyle Shanahan while the Cowboys are looking for the next Jason Garrett or Chan Gailey. The worst part for me is history shows even with a do over and hindsight he wouldn't change a thing. A case study needs to be done on a man so successful in printing money yet has zero self awareness or football common sense. Only Jerry wouldn't hesitate to spend 15 million on a SB Party if they won with a great coach, but balk at spending that on the kind of coaches that make that party happen. My only faint hope is his kids have some sort of intervention and rather through desperation or a third party come to their senses and hit the re-boot and restructure the entire organization. Impossible to win in any sport if the GM avoids all accountability.
