Shango said as much in his most recent video. No, Shango's not the ultimate expert. Yes, he's a good guy and tells it as he sees it. IMO he's right in this video. Take it for what it's worth.
It took him a while to get there, but he finally did.
Player reliance.
This coaching staff simply isn't good enough, and the public call-outs on that front should be enough of a wake-up call for anybody who's still unsure about it.
When your staff is getting called out left, right, and center for their incompetence and failure, it's time to take notice.
Specifically, when "Mr. Nice Guy" Tony Dungy is calling you out, you have a problem. Or when Troy Aikman, who bends over backwards to try to remain as impartial as possible about the Cowboys, loses it and starts venting his frustrations and losing his cool during a broadcast, it's plain to see that there are some issues.
And it sounded like he visits this forum when he's talking about the Eagles and how well they have managed to deal with their own set of injuries at the same positions. That was almost a word-for-word summary of the same subject that was extensively discussed here.
But the fact is that this isn't an average coaching staff and when their players aren't markedly better than the opponent, they have no answer. That's a staff that you will never win with.
