With the injury to Hutchinson, it gives Parsons more value. I would think that they could possibly trade Parsons, Diggs, Martin, and Hooker.
huh? Parson they can trade, but will not get the value for him they would have last year. Diggs? With that bloated contract and his crappy play/health, they get nothing for him. Hooker? May get a call girl for him. That's about it, and you and I know Jerry wouldn't trade anybody cause "we like our guys"

Is it odd to get 3 picks for Parsons. They need 2 dtackles and 2 running backs. To get those you need more picks and those players are available in this draft.
What 3 picks do you think we'd get for Parsons? Lol

What do you think?
I don't see him being traded. Doubt Jerry/Stephen are interested in doing so. And I don't think even if he were on the market he'd net what some fans think we'd get in return. He's not a leader, he's also turned into somewhat of a one trick pony and teams lately have been able to neutralize him. Also there's his contract situation, but I don't think we will see because Jerry will keep and resign him.

What is the bleakest to me is the 4 yr doomsday contract with Dak…. What an anchor around a team’s neck that is trying to build a championship team. Add Jerry as the concrete shoes and you have an impossible task.
the funny part is that the poster still thinks this is about winning.

its adorable.

The QB got his bag for 60 mil per yr.
The receiver got his at approx 33/34 per yr.

Now Micah is due. I'll call it the 1st 40 mil per yr non QB.
Keeps 'em in the news.

These are your Dallas Cowboys.

And ALL of that on field success.
Fun times.
LOL

Trade Parsons.
For what?

whats his value?

who wants a line backer that cant last the season at DE?

whos looking to bail out the cowboys and add a LB who typically doesnt make a difference at LB for their team?

What a mess Jerry has made. Barely beat the hapless Giants, blown out by a team that has lost 5 in a row in the Saints, blew out by the LIONS, lost to the Ravens, blew out a terrible team BUT DID BEAT THE STEELERS AWAY MISSING PLAYERS so thats one positive but they haven't beat anyone. We are in a bad place as we know. They will dump more players in the offseason and draft a RB MLB WR RG AND DE in our first 5 picks. I just feel that Jerry’s senility is getting worse and he is STILL involved in things. His son is so cheap. I predict the 7th or 8th pick in the draft. 6-11 record. We have some tough games coming up and not enough tough players to play against them. I mean what GM lets 10 guys go and doesn't replace them counting in the backups and not anticipating injuries in NFL football. Only an idiot.
We lucked out against the Steelers getting to play them with Justin Fields who can't throw the ball more than 5 yards down field. We struggle against any team with a decent QB.

There is no hope as long as Jerry remains GM.
Somebody said today. The ring of honor is going to gather and get together. Build a 20 foot statue of Jerry and then he’s going to retire. And take Steven with him.

Seems odd to pay a quarterback like Prescott yet giveaway one of the best defenders in the league over the past few years.

I really don't see Parsons being traded. You get the feeling with JJ that he wouldn't want to see any of his big name players have success at other teams which explains why he pretty much always ends up paying them. Wasn't there that issue with Romo as well in that it was made more difficult for him to leave than it needed to be which made his decision to immediately move into commentary a no brainer? I may have got that wrong but that was my recollection.
Trading Parsons for a slew of draft picks or for a couple of good picks and some good players does seem like a no-brainer, if you're talking about rebuilding the team.

But there's another reason I would trade Parsons, and that's because the way he plays he'll be good maybe 2 more years, and after that will be another Zeke, beat up and worn out. But keeping him for a long-term contract would bind Dallas to yet another aged, non-effective veteran like Zeke.

But Jerry is so unwilling to let the team get really down (on purpose) that he'll keep Micah so as to have a star player that gets sacks and tackles for loss and keeps the team capable of winning 10-12 games a year. Meaning there's no future in Dallas, even with Parsons, the rest of the team is not SB-caliber.

We're doomed to no SBs and average to above average win totals for the foreseeable future...

Strange reply. You are talking about one of the best pass rushers in the league. Any contender would want him.
