i think Sensa will pan out in dallas. I seen him Play and he was getting better and better everytime. I like the kid and how He plays. All these other safeties on our team dont show me nothing at all.

Hamlin didn't have a poor year in 2008. He can certainly play better, but it's not like he was liability.

There are other stats than INTs, people.

I agree. My problem is that he's so inconsistent. There has been about 2-3 games each year where he suddenly forgets how to tackle and gets burned badly and has been a big factor in us losing the game. I'd like to see our safeties be above average in coverage ability, making it very difficult for opposing offenses. I really believe that's what top 5 defenses have going for them. In '03 we were a top 5 defense despite having Zimmer and subpar pass rush, but we had Woody and the then great Roy Williams playing safety and we were tough on defense.

I'm really hoping we see something from Alan Ball. The coaching staff has been high on him from day one. Even though he was drafted in the 7th round, most scouts didn't think he'd even be drafted and then they have kept him around. I would love to see Ball develop into a very good cover safety.

If Dallas was in a position to move up a couple of spot to get Mays then I would do it. However it also depends on who is on the board when the Cowboys pick. I'm ready to enjoy this season instead of worrying what may happen in Next years draft.

I personally like Berry better than Mays so that's the one I'd rather have but I wouldn't give up a whole lot to move up and get either of them. There is no way that the safety position is now a more pressing need than a LT for when Flo is done and some other valuable Offensive line depth.

People who think Mays is overrated probably has seen very few USC games, if any. Mays makes no plays because he's too busy scaring the **** out of QBs who want to throw the ball deep. It's hard to make plays when you play deep centerfield, and play it well.

I don't want Mays or Berry. We need a blue chip LT before we get a luxury like those two safeties.

Last time we took a safety high in the draft his nickname was "superman". Howd that pan out? I'm with the dude who said you don't reach for safety, especially when this team needs young offensive lineman like none other.

Listen, if those safeties are as good as you think they are and our board has them on the top, sure lets go for them. But most people would agree that great lineman are harder to come by than great safeties, and in our case a great lineman would mean more than the safety.
