I am rolling with the Cowboys in this game. I do not think either team is top 4 material but this has all of the ingredients to be a Garrett game.

Reports are he's getting hammered on local radio and national sports programming, he's lost 3 in a row and there's speculation he's lost the team. All a set up for a Garrett game.

The guy pulls his butt out of the fire just before the bomb is going off more than any coach I've seen. I can't explain it except to call it The Garrett Effect. Just when you think he's going down for the 3rd time, he's standing next to you on the dock.

The ones that are all on the fire Garrett often wagon will be conflicted between their desire for their team to win competing with their desire to see him canned. Even if it's beating the Eagles, that conflict will be there. Such is the dislike for this coach. Any man that can compete for the distaste a Cowboys fan has for the Eagles is in rare air indeed.

I don't know if I'd pick them to win any of the remaining games except the Skins and maybe the Giants but I am all in on them in this one because I believe in The Garrett Effect.

Of course, Garrett is the ultimate mediocre, just do enough at the last second coach.

Well his players have given up on him for good. They aren't going to try in this upcoming came, and they're not going to care if they win or lose. He won't be able to pull a win out of his arse this time.

At this point I want the eagles to anniliate them. Full bore embarrassment is the only thing that can save this franchise from more mediocrity and false hope.

Fletcher Cox and company are going to spend the night in Cowboys backfield blowing things up. The Cowboys DL is not scaring anyone. Wentz will have his way with little pressure and a weak secondary to attack. The Cowboys have forgotten where their strength was, became complacent, and now find themselves getting dominated in trenches on both sides of the ball.

This season is in a fee fall.

this has the same feeling as last year. The 3-5 start had Garrett getting roasted on local and national radio. Then they win against Philly and go on a winning streak and short playoff run. So, I expect a win Sunday. Now, that being said if we lose and there is a growing sense that Garrett is loosing the team then he will be fired mid season. Doesn't matter what Jerry is saying now. The moment the team quits on him is the moment he is let go.

You are assuming that would force Booger to fire him, I am not convinced he will fire him and do believe he's extending him. Booger was forced to make a change to get that stadium deal done.

Wj, what have you seen come from the Joneses after the 3rd loss in a row this week? I've seen nothing but confidence and support for this HC and his staff. He's taking a page from another's book, tell them what you want them to believe and enough will believe it.

I don't care if Garrett single handedly takes out an invading alien army, there will be no conflict in my desire to see him get da boot.

I agree that it is teetering on that, Maxie, but he's done this too many times for me to doubt he'll do it again.

Unfortunately for those wanting Garrett gone, he got handed exactly what Booger wanted him to have with these injuries, an excuse. And oh my, should he win without his OT's and WR1, CotY material.

I am good with Jones family embarrassing not just a new coach.

3-0 was just the worst thing for our fans. They bought into the hype. Suckers!!!!!

I'm extremely torn about this game. As OP mentioned, Garrett has been on the brink like this 3-4 times before and clung to life with a fool's gold win or two to stop the bleeding. A big part of me desperately wants the Eagles to finally land the knockout blow on Garrett's kisser. A decade is enough - the madness must end somewhere.

I'd hate to watch the season go down the drain but there's a real argument to be made for a little short-term pain being worth it in the long run if we can finally shed this cancer.

I like the Eagles in a game that is going to fall apart in the 2nd half for the Cowboys.
So mardy, no Garrett Effect for you? I ain't kiddin', it's real. Booger made a deal with the Devil and now he's made a side arrangement for Garrett. Spaulding to the dark side.

..... I dont know, coach. But I can see both Dallas winning and losing by small margin. The Jets lost, might be to heavy of mental burden to overcome. I wonder how many players can see right through Garrett?

If Dallas does win this, it was done for each other, the players. I dont feel Garrett is part of the equation anymore.

this game will be over by half time like the last few have been for the cowboys it will be a pasting of the cowboys by the eagles

The players can tell if the coach is holding up their end of the bargain on Sunday. When they see innovation by the other team and see us getting boring again they will turn on Garrett.

The front office is as much to blame as Garrett for the current lack of talent/depth in the trenches. We know Jerry is untouchable and apparently Jerry feels Garrett is untouchable because with the exception of maybe the Bengals, Garrett would never have survived leading another team to mediocrity.

I don't think Belichick could coach this big-body lacking roster to a win Sunday night, though he likely would never allow this to happen.
