“I frankly, guys, have had some of real losing moments right before really knocked it out of the park,” Jones said. “I really do believe in the old San Francisco gold miner that quit right before the next pick, and the guy came behind him and hit it and found it all. So I think you keep going.”

Holy poop.

I'm done.

Let's just go ahead and combine all the Coach/Owner gibberish in this thread.

I'll start.

JG..."we just need to play for 60 minutes. Blah blah blah".

JJ..."Jason is our guy. We've had a lot of success with Jason. Blah blah Blah.

It's been since, what, 1989 since there was this little offense and this little defense in 3 straight games. Hell, Dallas set a franchise record for 10 straight quarters without a touchdown.

Something has to CHANGE.

This coaching staff sickens me... Bush League...

They have no idea what they are doing...

Garrett: "Someone changed my gum from tutti-fruitti to peppermint."
Garrett: "I don't know what else to do, I clapped as fast and hard as I can."
Garrett: "Process. Day by day. Execution. Football player."
Garrett: "We were without our best player."

Jerry: "Ummm .. ahhh .. ummm .. ahhh .. turkey .. ummm .. ahhh .. dispointing .. ummm"
Jerry: "I thought we played really good there for a while."
Jerry: "I have complete confidence in our coaching staff." *mumbles .. to lose every game*
Jerry: "I miss Tony Romo."
Jerry: "I like the way he .. ummm .. threw that ball when he .. ahhh ... when he ran that time ... ummm .. before he was sacked."

:lmao2:

"I think we did some good things, and the guys fought hard. We just couldn't make the plays when it mattered. But give credit to the other football team. They're an outstanding football team. We just have to learn from it and move on and hopefully play better next time."

Garrett would be a spectacular coach if the dispensation of platitudes, the art of seeming to say something significant but actually saying nothing of consequence, and the vigorousness of clapping were causal factors for coaching success.

I'm not on board with him either, but he signs the checks...

As bad as Garrett is, him throwing players under the bus last week was the end for me... he is a piece of ****...
What did he say? I did not hear or read anything about it.

Jason Garrett: "We had two priorities we really wanted to do: Score more points than the other team, and to keeping them from scoring more than us. We failed to achieve either of those goals, and it is very, very difficult to win football games in the National Football League when you don't do those two things."

Red is asked and he says we are playing hard.
It is a complete waste of time to ask this unless you are prepared to follow up asking “would you actually admit it if your players weren’t?”

Someone in the media, when he says stupid crap like this, should ask Jerry to name the coaches in this league that lasted 7+ years with the same team with such little results to date?

Marvin Lewis is the only person I can think of.
