Reminds me of 1995, before the Packers went down to Dallas for their annual postseason beatdown at the hands of the Triplets.

It was Brett Favre this, Brett Favre that. The media just grasps at anything they can if it means berating the Cowboys or belittling their chances.

Fact: Aaron Rodgers is on fire. Fact: the Cowboys are the team best equipped to knock Green Bay out of the playoffs. They can run the ball at will, control the clock, and score. See October 16 for details.

The Giants and their one-TD a game offense was never going to get that done.

Roger's is a great QB and holds the hope for GB in his passing arm. Punking the Cowboys has been
fashionable for years just like the media does Trump today. The Cowboys can win this game going away but,
they can't start false starting and holding on every offensive series. They have to score early, dig a hole
for GB and then cover it up on them.

Oh poor Trump... get out of here with that noise

Also the Giants gave Rogers too much time to pass the ball.
I understand their defense got tired - but they were rotating their Defensive line in the second half.
When the lights are brightest, you revert back to who you really are. The Giants became a team with no running game, no continuity on offense and a defense with no real pass rush. Not to mention, they missed DRC in coverage since he got hurt very early in the game. That's who they were to start the year and that's how it ended.

Green Bay became one dimensional with Rodgers throwing the ball all over the place. The Packers took advantage of what they had in front of them and exploited a team that didn't match up well with them. It's what you're supposed to do when everyone's watching.

Against Dallas, they face a different beast. The Cowboys can run it. The Cowboys can pass it. The Cowboys can cover TEs and WRs deep and make you go on 8+ play drives to score.

The question in this game is, does Green Bay matchup well against Dallas?

I don't think so. The Cowboys have Dez Bryant, Orlando Scandrick and Darren McFadden in addition to everyone else who played in the first game. The game that ended 30-16 and could have been worse...The Cowboys are rested and healthy and at home this time.

I don't subscribe to the "hot streak" stuff that people talk about. Football is about matchups and these Packers aren't built to stop the
Cowboys offense. If this game is closer than two possessions I will be very surprised.

What's this supposed to mean?
An emotional/psychological reaction caused by something that somehow relates to an upsetting time or happening in someone's life.

Like the reaction I feel when seeing Dez' catch-ruled-not-a-catch over and over.

This Cowboy team is very well balanced and should control the Packers. The media are playing to a certain audience and nothing more. I am looking forward to the Cowboys OL pushing the Packer defense around and Elliott running over whats left of it...especially that prick Mathews.... anybody betting on Rodgers is in for a long day and a big surprise!!

Yeah I remember the hype about Favre and what he was going to do to the Cowboys after they beat the Niners in the div. round in 95. It was irritating. Rodgers is not some machinge or something. He's had some subpar playoff performances and he is definitely not good enough to beat us by himself. That defense is going to have to stop us and I don't think they can.

Remember how good we looked in 09'? Beat the eagles in the wildcard 34-14, and we were on a roll. Went to Minnesota and got STOMPED 34-3.

I'm not saying that will happen to the packers. But I think they are a product of luck and easy schedule. I believe we'll get a touchdown on the opening drive, and maintain the lead for all 4 quarters.

I remember that. We all thought we were winning and we only scored 3 points sigh. It happens.
