Stephen Jones should be sitting with Howie right now with pen and pad (lol)
Sure they are but they are playing in the Super Bowl again as well.kind of moot isn't it? They just pushing the cap hit down the road, correct?
You would think other teams, mostly the Cowboys, would admit he's doing something right, and I need to adjust my system. It's foolish not to least compare their success against what you are doing.kind of moot isn't it? They just pushing the cap hit down the road, correct?
Eagles do restructure, but are better at not keeping players past their effectiveness.kind of moot isn't it? They just pushing the cap hit down the road, correct?
Exactly ...........no one cares, it got them to the Super Bowl.Sure they are but they are playing in the Super Bowl again as well.
Not so sure about that. This place seems to have more Eagles fans than Cowboys fans.I've been told Roseman has been doing all wrong by our fans.
I don't understand a word of this and don't care. Hurts is playing in the Super Bowl with a team stacked with talent. So whatever Howie is doing, it's working. lolWith Hurts though, they did his deal so there's a 97mil dead cap hit from options in void years starting in 2029.
So, it was pre-designed to be a deal acting like a restructured deal at the end of the contract without the yearly restructuring.
The Eagles have been good about understanding how to capitalize on a window.kind of moot isn't it? They just pushing the cap hit down the road, correct?
I agree. He's done a great job at managing the cap for the foreseeable future.I don't understand a word of this and don't care. Hurts is playing in the Super Bowl with a team stacked with talent. So whatever Howie is doing, it's working. lol
Uh our owner and his son have said this as well.I've been told Roseman has been doing all wrong by our fans.
It’s only a problem if the players don’t last to the end or near end if the cap amortization. The problem with Dallas is they extend players that are not likely to last that long. Romo’s dead cap hit was an anchor for this team and Dak’s is very likely to be the same.kind of moot isn't it? They just pushing the cap hit down the road, correct?
The bill does come due, at some point, for all teams. Dak’s big contract offers opportunity to open up cap space through restructure. The Cowboys need only decide how and who they want to proceed and adjust accordingly. It is not the disaster fans, and the Jones’, act like it is. The lack of a definitive plan going forward is the bigger concern. You would think other teams, mostly the Cowboys, would admit he's doing something right, and I need to adjust my system. It's foolish not to least compare their success against what you are doing.
But you make a good point that the Eagles know when to cut the cord and move on. Another thing, Howie is always looking for upgrades to all positions, and once he sees it he finds a way to make it happen regardless of contracts.I agree. He's done a great job at managing the cap for the foreseeable future.
LOL ...and not good enough to last that long BUT they still force coaches to play them as viable startersThe problem with Dallas is they extend players that are not likely to last that long.
