1 Tunsil OT- Tennessee

2. Lynch QB- Cleveland - Goff just doesn't fit well in Cleveland- maybe no one does, but Lynch is their version of Roethlisberger and they take him to play in a tough division and outdoor environment.

3. Stanley OT- San Diego

4. There are many prospects at this point and the top two are Bosa and Goff. I'm not sold on Bosa based on his production this year and against top ranked players. However, Goff I think is a franchise QB. JJ is all in on getting Romo a Super Bowl trip.
Trade with St. Louis. Dallas gets 13 2nd #44 and 3rd #76
It works out point wise and St. Louis has the motivation in Goff and extra picks.

Dallas (selections are made based on who is available at Drafttek.com)-

#13 S Jayron Kearse - say goodbye to Wilcox. This is a pro bowl caliber Safety at 6'4 220. BJ can stay at corner for one more year when Barry Church moves on to Free Agency.

#35 2nd - Will Fuller WR Notre Dame - finally a receiver that can truly stretch the field and beat one on one coverage.
#44 2nd (trade) - Kenny Clark DT UCLA - amazing player that can play the one and three. (andrew billing is available but I think he will go in the first round)

#67 3rd Kenneth Dixon RB L Tech. - Strong all-round player with high character. Broke some TD record.

#76 3rd (Trade) Keyarris Garrett WR 6'4 220 - led NCAA in yards

#99 4th - Demontane Kazee CB San Diego State - a player maker in causing fumbles and interceptions. Might just fit this defense.

4th comp - traded for JF.

In Free Agency - If the rumors are true and Mario Williams will be cut, you sign him as your 4-3 RDE.

I'm pretty sure Goff will be the first QB taken, but if the cowboys FO grades them 1a and 1b as franchise QBs I'm ok with going with Lynch.

Isn't 13 a bit high for Kearse?

And you can't trade comp picks. Plus, after all that's gone on recently with JFF, why would you still want him? The kid is a total clown.

If we move that far down, we need to draft Elliott. A strong running game strengthens three areas:

1. Romo. You don't put Romo in as much danger.
2. The wide receivers. A legitimate threat at running back opens up the field. And, NO, teams did not fear Darren McFadden.
3. The defense. If we improve TOP (time of possession) watch the defense perform better. The safeties will get better and the corners will make interceptions.

Then I would get our quarterback and devote the rest of the draft to defense.

I am all for drafting Elliott, but how does drafting a running back make the safeties better and ensure more interceptions? That's a dramatic reach even by CZ standards. It does help TOP, but it's not going to make the safeties play better. The things that will lead to more interceptions are playing more/better zone, getting consistent pressure, playing with bigger leads and having better corners.

I agree we need a rb, but I also believe that defenses did not fear Dmac because we had no threat of a passing game. Also, Dmac should have been the day 1 starter...I really believe Randall was given the starters job just to keep his head right. Anyone with 1/2 a brain could have figured out that Dmac was the best rb on the team, anyone but our staff unfortunately.

I dont see Kearse as a first Rder at all,i would be extremely upet if we passed on Goff.can you imagine if Goff turns out to be a bonafide Franchise QB and Jerry and stephen passed on him? they could never live it down and fans will never forgive them after 20 years of futility. Qb is the way to go in the top 5,dont see any other option unless Bosa or Tunsil falls.

I would not pass on Goff if he is there. He can sit behind Romo and learn from one of the best in the business.

completely agree unless one of Bosa or Tunsil is still there.

Honestly I think they would pick a QB over both of them. Outside of Tunsil the top of the draft is extremely fluid, and Bosa isnt a Clowney level prospect

If your going to trade down to 13 then mine as well take Elliott or Wentz and i wouldnt doubt u could get Jayron Kearse with our 2nd round pick.

The 4 best players in this draft are Tunsil, Bosa, Lynch, and Goff..............we are guaranteed to get one of them, so stay at 4

Passing on a potential franchise QB for a safety would be...............wow...............no words:huh:

Goff if were so lucky but I think not.Another unforgiven would be Manziel within the city limits of Dallas.

No way I'm passing on Goff if he's there at 4....plus i would demand alot more for the 4th pick than that.

One of those QB's will be there when we pick. San Fran and the Rams will bid on them. Take the best offer. Take Treadwell if he is there.....then take your 2nd rounder...package it up and move back late in the 1st and take Nkemdiche (he will fall because of the arrest). Then with the other 2nd rounder take Jaylon Smith who will fall because of the ACL/MCL tear.

You walk out of the draft with 3 future all pros. Treadwell.......Nkemdiche.....and Jaylon Smith.

The premise of this mock draft is helping get this team to win now. Drafting Goff doesn't help Romo win in 2016. Whether Jerry goes this route is of course unknown.

This early, I would take Goff or Jalen Ramsey at 4. Tunsil should go #1. I don't think Bosa is worth all the hype around him. Check his stats against ranked teams and quality tackles.

Zek /RB is not worth a top 15. DMC will be even better next year. The RB (Dixon) in the 3rd is a valuable pick. Next years draft will be heavy with quality RBs.

Kearse is marked as a first rounder and continues to move up boards.

The picks help make the offense more explosive and fill major holes in the defense with high quality players. More picks instead of Goff help round off this team.

With this draft and Mario Williams, this a super bowl contender.
