The Giants are a good team

... are a good team, hence their record.

It's nice to actually have good interest in a Cowboys game late in the season. It's nice to be playing for something other than a draft placing.

We will be underdogs and will have to play better than we have in a month or more to win. It is really going to be a struggle.

It's gonna be a flatout NFC East war.

Can't wait.

Bring it.

They are good, but let's reflect on their recent good fortune:

1) Manning refuses to play for SD, sending him into NY's loving arms
2) Burress leaves in a huff without a contract, yet they kiss and make up, which almost never happens. Burress has been great ever since.
3) Awarded an extra home game due to the hurricane
4) Get to play the Eagles twice without McNabb and T.O.

... and so on

They played great today and their D was really tough. But sometimes Eli is really off and their Oline and secondary is not especially talented. They're not always as good as they were today. Our D is a lot better than Seattle's.

Ahh, didn't we go to the Seahawks and play just as well if not BETTER then the Giants played them. I'm not buying all the Giant crap thats floating around this board. Pleeeeeze!!!!!!!!!!

<...all the Giants' crap...>

I don't think it is crap at all, unless you think the Seahawks are dogs. The Giants outplayed them all over the place but three missed field goals that either one of the three would have won the game doomed the Giants.

The Giants shut down their running game until late in the game. They harrassed Hasselback the entire game. Eli played the best I have seen him play this year.

All of this in Seattle's front yard.

Too bad Ernie Acorski (sp?) is sticking around for the draft. He's definitely a top notch football man and has set them up rather well for the future.

That's what worries me. We need to be balanced to win consistently. Can we run on the Giants? Can we protect Bledsoe? Can we kick a freakin' FG? I dunno. I expect the D to show up. But they're going to need to create turnovers IMO for us to come home with a W.

The surprising thing about the Seahawk game was the Giant defense. They played very well, and were betrayed by the kicking game in the end. A tough one coming up I think.

The Giants are a good team. But once again, I think it all comes down to stopping the run and rattling Eli.

I personally think the Seahawks are overrated.

Giants is more solid team than Dallas.

Uhhhhhhhhhh, OK.

I guess the fact that they got about 12 false start penalties proves they are a more solid disciplined team.

What's funny is that almost everyone here is jumping on the Giants' bandwagon yet the only reason their record is the same as our's is the fact they got that extra home game.

They have won win away from Giants' Stadium, have only one win against a team with a winning record (Denver).

It won't be easy for us, but they are hardly so superior that we are doomed to lose.

There aren't enough smileys in the world to express how funny that is. That's awesome.
