I love how you can see all the dejection in the background, while he's still dancing and mugging for the camera! Classic!

The Giants are a good team as much as I hate to admit it. But I still firmly believe that they are NOT as good as we are and I beleive that we will beat them come next Sunday. We will take sole possession of first place and effective two game lead over them. We may see them in the playoffs yet again though.

The Giants outplayed the Seahawks in their game just as we outplayed the Seahawks. We should still be tied with each other but with one more win each and the Seahawks should have two fewer wins but that isn't the way it went down. I guess Seattle has some serious mojo going on their home field this year.

The Giants are good, The Commanders are good,(not in the playoff hunt but are still a good team) The Seahawks are good, The Bears are good, The Falcons are good, The Bucs are good and the Panthers are good. Nobody is great and nobody is that much better than anyone else.

I am so sick of everyone belittling the other teams when we are as inconsistent as everyone else. We have weaknesses just like everyone else and they all show up from week to week.

Tom Jackson said last night that he thought someone was going to come roaring out of the NFC and tak control here in the last few weeks, but I just don't see that happenning. Everyone is just too close and there flaws get exposed from week to week. It will be a battle all the way to the Superbowl for one NFC team.

Who is going to eliminate the mistakes?

Our advantage is our consistent D and the fact that we are not killing ourselves with penalties. Our disadvantage is that we do not have a consistent running game like the Giants and the Seahawks and the Falcons. If we get our running game getting more positive yardage plays and be able to take time off the clock at the end of a game with it we may have something.

I agree with the latter post. In Peter King's latest MMQB column he says the following:

"8. Dallas (7-4). Look at how Dallas did against the teams in front of it. Lost to Denver in OT, won at San Diego, beat the Giants in OT, lost at Seattle narrowly. Nothing, and I mean, nothing, will surprise me from the Cowboys the rest of the way. They could win the Super Bowl. They could lose a wild-card game."

For once, I actually agree with him.
