Its ironic because most of the people on the board think we are the best team in the NFL. But refuse to give the Giants credit. As of right now we are paper champs. They are defending Super Bowl champs that have dominated their last two opponets

It pains and disgusts me to say that - but they are and they are better than last season.

The G-Men have it all - top notch coaching - Coughlin>Phillips everyday of the week , the only spot we have them is Houck over Flaherty , but Flaherty is no slouch.
Eli is no longer a joke, he's Top 5-7 in the NFL and is every bit as good as Romo or Rothlisberger.
The Giants 3 pronged running attack and Big WR Corps is as deadly a weapon package as you'll find and when Eli gets time, his deep ball is almost always on.
Lastly they have the best OL in the NFL and IMO their secondary is as deep as any.

I'm sorry, but that's a huge reach as far as I'm concenred. They tore up a terrible Rams team, and struggled against Washington if you ask me.

I'm willing to call them the best simply based of the Super Bowl results, but it's too early to annoint them the best based on their play.

No, but he's right, they are defending champs. Obviously on a Cowboy forum you're going to find a lot of homers, but until we beat them for real, they are the best team in the division, and possibly the league, and that's the way our players should look at it as well. We are, quite literally, paper champions until we prove otherwise.

Paper Champs might be the best label for the Cowboys we've come up with. These are the facts: The Giants whopped us in our park , after our QB was on Vaca as well as the TE. The Giants went on to beat , the unbeatable Bill Big Game Bellicheat in the Big Dance and have come out storming IMO.

Best Team in the NFL.

We , have taken on a New York Yankees like persona, in that we are expected to win the SB - anything else is a failure.
We could go 15-1 and that's not good enough for Wade to keep his job is he loses in Round 2 again.
