The Giants are the best team in the NFL

Paper Champs might be the best label for the Cowboys we've come up with. These are the facts: The Giants whopped us in our park , after our QB was on Vaca as well as the TE. The Giants went on to beat , the unbeatable Bill Big Game Bellicheat in the Big Dance and have come out storming IMO.

Best Team in the NFL.

We , have taken on a New York Yankees like persona, in that we are expected to win the SB - anything else is a failure.
We could go 15-1 and that's not good enough for Wade to keep his job is he loses in Round 2 again.

From what I can remember about that game, we beat ourselves. We had 11 penalties for 84 yards. We owned the Time of possession 36 and a half mins to 23 and a half. That is not even mentioning the missed opportunities we had during the game for example Craytons drop or Tony's bad throw to T.O. in the endzone when the ball slipped out of his hand.

The Giants may have beat the Bucs, Packers, and Patriots.. Mostly because they won the T.O.P. battle against those teams.. We shot ourselves in the foot. Those mistakes won't happen this year.

I also disagree with what you said about the Giants being better than they were last year. If thats true then that means you and most people would have them listed as SuperBowl champs again this year right? So tell me they are the favorites. I could care less what the hell they are defending, that was last year. Luck and only luck contributed to their success. It seemed like one swing of luck in each game was what they needed to win throughout the playoffs.

Im not even going to get started on the obvious crap either... No Osi...No Strahan.... End of Story.

You know - I made this post and never expected this backlash - that was not my intent , I've been on the defense here with this. I'm Cowboys thru and thru , go check my other posts - I despise the Giants but what I see is a SB Champ flexing it's muscle today - and the moment they got in a jam , it was 34-13 in a blink.

I doubt they're doing that. They saw two teams who can certainly expose their weak secondary. It's a secondary that is certainly no better than the one they had last year, possibly worst with the exception of Kenny.

I also don't see their pass rush being nearly as good as last year so I think the Cowboys O-Line will be able to handle them. But that is weeks down the road and not important right now anyway.

I don't feel nearly as nervous about them as I do when we play Philly or Greenbay. I do feel nervous though, I agree.

But they're paper champions, at best, just like anyone else is that is considered to be good enough to win it this year.

No one has won it this year so no one is anything but paper champions at this point.
