The Giants are playing well because their run game has killed opponents. They cant run over Dallas like they do these other teams.

On Hard Knocks, the coaches were beginning to rave about Spencer before his injury. I'm excited about the quarterback pressure he's going to bring to this defense.

Me too. He's going to make this defense look different and will allow Wade to play his real defense. We could be that dominating defense I crowed about months ago.

If Joe Gibbs were still on the sidelines, they would have lost by double digits today, why? B/c Gibbs was nothing more than a stubborn, old school line'em up, smash'em in the mouth type of coach. He would NOT have exploited the Saints' secondary, especially the Tracy Porter matchup, in the game.

And the Skins D is healthy now-Rogers has picked up where he left off last year, MacIntosh seemed to have made faster recover than expected, and their pass rush is better than I expected.

They're not exactly a Super Bowl team, but Zorn has them in the right direction.

I am VERY nervous over the Philly game tomorrow.

With that being said-I don't expect the Skins game to be a cakewalk either. The Saints win has nothing to do with turning around their season, but like I said, the Skins D was never the problem under Gibbs. With their D being healthy(and assuming they remain that way 2 weeks from now), they could give us fits.

You know you have a troll when someone posts that another team is the best in the NFL while claiming to be a fan....no real fan does that, even if they really thought it.

It's sad that a team we haven't even played this season has fans trolling the message boards claiming to be a Cowboys fan! Are the really that jealous? How sad that they can't even enjoy their own team....I love it that the Cowboys are on the minds of other team's fans so much. Actually, that means we have alot of closet fans out there.

i have a lot of respect for the giants as a football team but if your worried about the Giants because of what they have done so far well i want you to just imagine what the cowboys would have done in that same scenario if we had started against the skins and then rams...

It pains and disgusts me to say that - but they are and they are better than last season.
Can we beat them? - I'm not sure now after that choke in the playoffs - I'm really not.
The G-Men have it all - top notch coaching - Coughlin>Phillips everyday of the week , the only spot we have them is Houck over Flaherty , but Flaherty is no slouch.
Eli is no longer a joke, he's Top 5-7 in the NFL and is every bit as good as Romo or Rothlisberger.
The Giants 3 pronged running attack and Big WR Corps is as deadly a weapon package as you'll find and when Eli gets time, his deep ball is almost always on.
Lastly they have the best OL in the NFL and IMO their secondary is as deep as any.

We have our hands full.

You know - I made this post and never expected this backlash - that was not my intent , I've been on the defense here with this. I'm Cowboys thru and thru , go check my other posts - I despise the Giants but what I see is a SB Champ flexing it's muscle today - and the moment they got in a jam , it was 34-13 in a blink.
I'll stick to my claim - until we defeat them.

You do that. People aren't annoyed because you said the Giants are a good team. But in the first 2 weeks they have not shown they are better than last year by beating two poor opponents. It's to early to figure out who is the best team is and I think many Cowboys fans will be very glad to have wins against the Giants and Eagles at this point.
