Man, I hope that they win it all next year. It would paint a different picture.
As we all do, but man it’s been quite some time of hoping “Jerry’s way” has a breakthrough. I do it annually, and I’ll be back again. Hell, I never left. Tried. Doesn’t take.

I hate being negative. Hate being miserable over it. I’d much rather be discussing football than trashing management, but how and/or why should they get the benefit of any doubt after hearing them speak recently?

Your go to phrase…”25 wins” should absolutely be something to feel good about and hope to build on. Will they though?

Their recent comments were truly embarrassing, and borders on not even believable. Jerry with the stopwatch? Really? Like a kid in a Batman costume.

He has been working in an NFL front office for 30 years. He learned from Jimmy and Parcells.

Does playing football or coaching or scouting qualify somebody to manage the salary cap?
X, I really like you, but based on my observations I have seen nothing from Stephen to make me feel confident in his job performance.
I get that he has hung around the Cowboys all his life , but I don't see that as a qualification to be a good at managing the cap.

Oh bs, he has won 25 games in the last 2 years. Your take is ridiculous.
I guess what I’m tired of is my expectations. But you know that’s entertainment or at least that’s what JJ Colson can you do it is. Something fall short sometimes way short sometime close. JJ is making decisions impact this team there is no other constant in the equation.

I am confident that they will have double digit wind again next year. Hopefully, they can win it all. Anything can happen at the end. You just have to beat the odds. Anyway, they will have a good exciting team. Enjoy the ride.

Sometimes doctors recommend deprogramming. I don’t know if it would be helpful in your case but two years versus 27 it’s telling
Lol, I enjoy the present, just like I did in the 70's and the 90's. The current team is good.

And they are good now. Enjoy the ride. It's great having a good team.

The most important position is a QB because if you don’t have a real good one everyone including the GM gets fired. GM’s don’t make draft selections unless they’re Jerry.

Just look at the last 2 years and the year coming up and enjoy the ride. They are good.
They aren’t a bad team. Just not quite good enough. Most think that way. Fans, media…

What do they do from here?

I honestly don’t even know if being aggressive (“all in”), is the answer.

Really, what if we signed both Von Miller AND Bobby Wagner last off-season (the two guys most wanted). Would the end result have been much different?

Sometimes you just get beat, and sometimes you aren’t good enough. We seem to be somewhere in between somehow.

The media has moved on from Jerry's last imbecilic statement. Now it is 24/7 KC/Philly coverage. He is feeling left out and working hard to come up with his next moronic statement.

If they signed Von Miller and Bobby Wagner it could very well have been a disaster.

When you make the playoffs you’re good but you’re falling short if you’re the Cowboys if this was a five year sample size I’m talking about you’d be correct. If you were a 10 year sample sizeI wouldn’t argue 27 years listening to the Carnival Barker. You may not know it but I’m supported back from jump supported JJ not quite as strongly it’s Rockport but I’ve been a company man. JJ and team he put together put it here Not bad but never the bride

They just lost the last game by a touchdown and when you have short rest and travel from one coast to the other, you are supposed to lose. NFL teams almost always lose when they travel from coast to coast and throw in the rest factor and most likely you will lose. That's pretty much all it is.

I like the last 2 years and next year. That will give you a 3 year sample that should be outstanding.

Should be fun to see what he comes up with in the next 48 hours to keep his team "relevant"? The hamster wheel in his head must be spinning furiously!

If deck has a consistent game to game we will do fine. However if they believe that Elliot had no drop off it gives me great pause

Look at the teams who have been excluded from the NFL Championship game the longest. I think Dallas is is among the 5 worst in the league. This really tells the GM story.
