Danniel Stubbs was supposed to be Charles Haley before Charles Haley.
Howard Richards was also the LT of the future for 4 or 5 seasons. Knee injuries did him in. Todd Cristensen was another great that got away. We cound'nt convince him to switch to TE. Mike Walter also went on to win 3 sb's with the 49'ers. and last but not least, we gave up on Roger Ruzek who became a Cowboy killer for a 2 or 3 seasons with the eagles while we strugled with Luis Zendejas and others.

Seriously, what about Herschel Walker? What would he have accomplished if he were a Cowboys his entire career? Now think if we would have gotten him back right after he flamed out with the Vikes rather than waiting until 1996.
It's also worth mentioning that while in Dallas, he did lead the league in yards from scrimmage one season. This on a team that was dismal. No, Herschel didn't underachieve. He just didn't have ANY help the seasons he was a Cowboy.rcaldw;2526187 said:Hard to say Herschel under achieved. He played 11 years in the league and had over 13,000 combined yards in rushing and receiving.
The one argument, though, that could be made in your favor, is that he only rushed for over 1,000 yards twice. That is an amazing fact.
