I hope you're kidding... We are now squarely behind the 8 ball in the NFC East. The Giants showed tonight that they still have it and will be a force to reckon with all year long.

the over reactions to game 2 when we were still in it with a minute left in the game seem quite off to me.

the only reason it was a bigger game than the bucs is because the fans think it was, it was the second game of a 16 game season.

It really didn't mean anything but a loss.

The defense was on the field too much and that was the offenses fault. It's silly not to expect the defense to screw up some as much as they were on the field tonight.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think a home division game is "just a loss". You gotta make it to the playoffs before you can win anything.

edit: nevermind.... looked it up. Meant in 07. It was 0. Still finished the year with 14 sacks.

Maybe we miss ellis and canty more then we thought.. Our defense....WOW...Not even going to waste my time.

I had a feeling they would miss Canty, I still get that sense after two games.

Ware is getting doubled and Spencer cannot take advantage of the one on one's. Jerry needs to make a trade, Cowboys cannot wait on Spencer if they want a passrush THIS season.

Scandrick & Newman are young and will make their share of mistakes, Newman does not get that kind of pass. And Hamlin needs to be dropped off somewhere far away, don't want that guy finding his way back.

I became very worried this off-season when we put all of our faith in Spencer. He just hasn't proven anything yet and I would have felt better seeing him worked into the position while sharing time with someone versus being given the spot outright. Spencer did some good things tonight but he wasn't consistent at all. That lack of consistency is going to get us killed every time against the quality teams in the league.

yeah it is a loss "worse" than most losses in terms of tiebreakers etc but it isn't like the Giants will run the table in the division and we still have a game against them later in the year to get them back.

This is what bothers me the most. Wade has had all off-season to impress himself upon this defense and it doesn't appear to have improved... That's a little alarming.

What does their being undefeated or not being undefeated have to do with us? We have to take care of our games, let them worry about their games. The fact of the matter is we lost a division game at home, and that means something even ignoring all the people that are upset over the loss. A division loss means something.

How are we missing Canty?

When did he provide much of a pass rush for us? Ever? If anything, he'd add to our DL rotation, sure... but not at the price he wanted.
