It was this mind set that led to some horrible, post Jimmy Johnson drafts. I don't want to spend a first day pick on potential......I want a guy that can compete as a starter. We're not locked at CB, FS, or LG.

I'd like to add LT to your list. While McQ is currently backup, I think he played RT in college, and therefore might be better suited at that position. Neither Adams or Colombo should be expected top be injury free for the whole season.

That you don't ABSOLUTELY have to have a starter in the first and second round. You can have a solid draft where you get some developing players who will BECOME starters, not be starters by virtue of their draft position.
