The easy natural fit is the Jets. He grew up 10 minutes from met life and they had interest in him as a RFA a few years back and they have a huge need at receiver. We will see if they still have the same interest.

So were all pretty sure that Miles is out of here come cut time. Leads me to wonder what contender thinks he would help get them over the hump.
I can see the Niners signing him to a 1 year deal.
Maybe even the Falcons.
Wouldn't be surprise if Seattle gave him a look.
What you zoners think?

I was thinking the Niners too.

Where do most ex-cowboys go? The Chicago Bears.:D Although, after Barber, Hurd, Bennett and Ratliff, just maybe, the Bears may have determined that well is dry. Maybe he'll get a look from Oakland. I think he probably signs with Indy.

I think it would be most telling if our biggest competitors (NYG, PHI, and WAS) all show no interest just as they did in CB Mike Jenkins. That would mean they think very little of him even though he would be near the vet min and have inside information on the offense.

I think his most likely destination is the St. Louis Rams. Ray Sherman, his former position coach has always been a Miles Austin advocate and it's well known that he tried to convince Jeff Fisher to draft him while both were coaching the Titans. Plus Sam Bradford desperately needs offensive weapons.

I think the Giants are a close second, followed by the Jets. Every player dreams about playing pro ball in their own back yard and the Giants in particular will need to fill the void created by the pending departure of Hakeem Nicks.

It also wouldn't surprise me if he went to the Patriots. As others have stated, Austin is the text book example of the type career that Belichick salvages.

He's a NY guy so either the Giants or the Jets is my guess.

The Commanders. The place where Cowboy castoffs go to die.

I think a number of teams would be interested, but it won't be a particularly lucrative contract. Probably end up with a 1 or 2 year deal some place, like the Pats.

where he will promptly get his super bowl ring! SMH

My bet is KC or NO. I think Payton was here when he was a rookie, maybe I'm wrong, fairly certain.

If he does go to NO, and stays healthy, my bet is he'll have over 1,000 yds easy. Payton knows how to conduct an offense.

He can go coach Romo 2 Austin's little pee-wee football team for all I care. If he cannot play a full season at least two years in a row, he's done. Another team can put up with all that. The Cowboys don't need it.

Jets, he is from NJ and the Jets were interested in him in 2010 and still have no WR to count on

I wouldn't be surprised to see him head to Buffalo, Seattle, NY Jets, Cleveland, or Minnesota.

The pic u have of Kiffin reminds me of that monkey looking thing from the lion king.......the one that says "the king has returned"

ATL maybe. SF and SEA may be contenders to bring him in at the vet minimum but I expect he'll get more than that.

I doubt anybody picks him up. Injury prone, has lost a step and was never a possession receiver. He could be in the booth doing Cowboys games.

I'll throw in Philly to the mix. They need a WR or two. Maclin is coming off a significant injury and Riley Cooper is marginal.
