You traded a 2 for drew Henson. I’d extend Dak all the live long day than ever do that again. Two 1’s for Galloway was also worse... those ended up being 5-11 1st round picks

The die is already cast. We are keeping Dak no matter what. We have to extend him.

What’s up. Do you agree or disagree?

It's a slam dunk observation. It's easy.
:hammer:

Of course you don't extend Prescott. He's given you zero reason to do so. He's gotten worse, not better. If anyone has anything to prove to anyone, it's him. There's no evidence right now that the Cowboys have a franchise quarterback.

Jones can say whatever he wants. He thinks it's giving his quarterback confidence. But there's nothing behind it.

Dak has done nothing over the last calendar year but be a bottom 5 QB. Understand you may be stuck with him next year but extending him would be lunacy.

Secondly, when you are making whole sale changes to leadership you can't keep a guy who has been the starter and will be looming over the next QB's shoulder. If he carves out a career elsewhere, great for him. For this organization, it will be time to move on.

When fielding a media question like that, there really is no reason to say anything other than something positive about a player, even if it’s not the complete truth. Jerry should maybe have said “we’ll see” but to just be honest and say “yeah dak is done” wouldn’t serve a purpose. So I don’t really ever take what staff members say to the media all the seriously.

His words are a scorching wind that just blows hot sand into everyone's faces everytime he gets on the mic. There is no substance, no genuine heartfelt conviction behind anything he has to offer. He's as petty and superficial as they come.

"Most grievous error" is a pretty big accusation against a NFL team that still employs Jason Garrett
