The Herd - Rating Dak

It shouldn't get tore up i agree - Dak is Special i am glad we have him ! But people are gonna push whatever narrative they want ! I would even argue his Interceptions should even be lower, i personally remember 2 maybe 3 that bounced right off Dez's hands into the defenses lap.

I do not understand the dak animosity it is undeserved in my humble opinion and

for the record i am not getting into any Dak's arguments so no need to come back at me - believe what you want i will believe what i want LOL

The only thing that matters to me is that the general consensus is that Dak can get better, He isn't close to his ceiling. And when it's all said and done no matter where your athlete ranks this is what you want to hear that he can improve. I'm looking forward to an improved Dak, I will let others look forward to where he ranks.

I'm hoping that Dak bounces back. His throws were all over the place at time though and his vision of the field was a head scratcher a lot also. I really want him to be the guy because I don't want to go back to the wasteland that existed in the years between Aikman and Romo. Being critical of Dak is not about pushing a narrative or agenda either. It's about seeing with your eyeballs that he did regress. When you go 'What the **** was that?' at some of the passes he missed it has dick and **** to do with pushing an agenda.

I hope this hasn't been posted. This will get tore up, but it did make me feel food about Dak. Discuss.

I think hes got it right and I think Fans dont accept that we can win with a good 3rd tier QB, Daks still good enough in that category to win, hes already doing it, Romo was 2nd tier, maybe dak will get there but in the meantime lets relax and see him grow into the position..if he doesnt after year 4 time for new guy but right now lets stop the dak bashing..

Anybody who doesn’t think Dak is at least tier 3 would just be ludicrous.

My personal opinion is that he already is a tier 2 quarterback. But obviously that will either be proven or disproven this upcoming season.

I don't think any 2nd year QB can be considered top 10. You can rate them as top young QB's. Too much to learn in the NFL at the position. Growing pains are inevitable.

Isnt it miraculous that Dak had none of these issues the first 24 games of his career. How is it possible for you people NOT to understand what happened to the team in game #25 that changed everything. Its the most laughably obvious set of circumstances you could possibly have.

Regress? LOL Wow its like you people didn't even watch the games.

You make a good point. Dak needs to prove it this coming season.

That being said the list cowherd posted frustrates me a little because of Garrapalo. I actually think jimmy G is going to be a very good QB. He is very talented. But he hasn’t proven much yet either....

Its painfully obvious how good Jimmy G is. Just like its wonderfully obvious how good Dak is. Garrapp is a few years ahead in my opinion.

According to one film review of every pass thrown in the NFL last season Dak led the league in "unearned" interceptions with eight. (Those are interceptions off receivers hands, on Hail Mary throws, on batted balls, when the quarterback's arm was hit as he threw, etc.). Matt Ryan was second with six, and two others had five. The average is two.

Oh I agree. Jimmy is a beast. But I am just speaking of what’s been proven.

That being said, jimmy also has several more years in the league than Dak. Being coached by Belichek and learning from Brady.

I know some posters on this site like to pretend that a QB sitting for several years and learning from the sidelines isn’t helpful to a QB *cough* Romo *cough*, but to me I think it’s obvious that it is very helpful to a QB.
