So, while we all know the Cowboys didn't get anyone in the top 30 of pretty much any "celebrity" draft guru's boards, we seem to have gotten 5 players or so, on many top 100 lists? The Rb we got was considered a potentially higher pick as well.....

5 picks in Kiper's top 100? Probably gave us an F. Last I checked there are 32 teams in NFL, and that should average out to about 3 in top 100 per team....

Dallas gets crucified for reaching on Frederick and the Giants get nothing but praise for taking Pugh an even bigger reach at #19.

Most people had pugh as a first round pick,most people had frederick as a 3rd round pick. Plus the giants have a track record of drafting well, we don't.

The highest rated player on Mel's board that we selected was J.J. Wilcox. He had him 51st overall. Then B.W. Webb was 78th. Escobar was 84, Frederick 87 and Williams 93. He only does a top 100 these days.

At least we got a lot of quality guys. We might not have gotten any top 10 superstars (according to him), but we got 4-5 guys who will probably make a regular contribution next season.
