Now that we've had time to look at these guys more, I want to hear everyone's position rankings. So I'm going to try and post a position we could possibly take at 12, every couple of days leading up to the draft.
The prepose being to discuss who you would want to draft over the other players at the same position and why?

exp. If we take a RB at 12.. if we take a DT at 12... if we take a WR...get it?
So to start us off I chose DE/ED

If we take an DE/ED at 12, who do you prefer it it and why?

For me the order is A Carter, J Walker, S Stewart, J Peirce, M Williams and Green

Carter is the best athlete at edge this year. His skill set is the closest to Parsons and the duo would be incredible together.
Walker is a very close second to Carter IMHO. He has the speed, bend, instincts and cover skills to be a great player.
Stewart has a good floor and what could be a super high ceiling. He could turn into a dominate force on the D-line.
Peirce is a very skilled DE who would give us a good player opposite MP. He needs to get stronger inside though.
Williams He has the ability to be great but leaves me feeling unfulfilled. Great run defender though.
Green seems to be a pass rush freak but can he set an edge? And small school guys scare me this high.

I think Williams is the most realistic option at 12 that makes sense for what we need in a bigger bodied LDE that is a stud agains the run as has rush upside.

I love Pearce and Green but there are apparently off the field issues.

Stewart’s production profile is just too low for me at 12.

You have Mykel and Shemar in that area. Both guys are LDEs which shouldn't be considered a Money 5 because this position isn't a high sack spot and more of a stop the run position.

Anyway, Shemar is the guy the Cowboys should take over Mykel. Shemar is bigger, faster, more explosive, and has more upside. The Cowboys having another DE opposite Parsons, for the next 4 years, that has crazy athleticism and a high motor is a good pairing. Stewart has a great bull rush, and his lack of production issue is due to his lack of hand fighting and ability to disengage...all very coachable.
