The impact of Micah Parsons

They do. Parsons is a great player but prone to being invisible in big games late in the season. It’s obvious.
How do you define big games, though? Before this season full of injuries, we were 12-5 the last three seasons. We don't get to 12-5 without Parsons. There wouldn't be big games late in the season without him. And saying he's invisible downplays the effect he has with pressure and drawing double- and triple-teams. Parsons has one of the highest pressure rates, if not the highest (couldn't find updated numbers), in the league since 2021 despite all the extra attention he receives.

I feel like this argument is similar to the record in "win-or-go home" games that was created by some on here to disparage Romo. Or those that argued that Ware didn't get sacks when it counted.

Ware should have been the SB MVP. Much better player than Parsons. Part of the issue is Dallas turning a short armed LB into a DE. Part of the problem is Micah for often being out if shape.

Where are the football geniuses here who were ready to trade him?
I'm one of those. But my opinion was based more on the idea that he'd demand WAY too much and/or could get a better deal elsewhere, so take advantage of the situation and trade him for max value.

but since he has at least signaled that pay isn't everything... we'll see.

I think having Kneeland and Lawson has helped Micah.

Those guys have been disrupting things (as has Osa more this season). That really opens up opportunities for Micah and blitzing DBs.

in the past the disrupter was basically DLaw and that's it. There's been more work from others and Micah has benefited.
