Is Javon Walker a FA this year? Another guy I would look into is Koren Robinson. Supposedly he has cleaned up his act and he was starting to flash last season for the Vikings.

No. Walker's last year is this year. I really don't think he will sign with Green Bay after they refused to renogotiate his contract. Koren Robinson would be a good pickup, if we could put protective clauses in his contract.

Actually, it's not such a bad idea at all.

Payton has worked first-hand with him and knows his abilities. What better way to get someone who's familiar with your offensive scheme and philosophy, to run your offense for the first year while grooming your first round QB - in either Leinart or Young?

I thought J. Reeves played really well when given a chance.

I thought he did well too. I would expect that he'll have to continue to improve though to be an asset in the future. If he does, he'll have been a nice late round pick.

He then said that the safety position needs to be addressed stating that Keith Davis exceeded expectations but there is more that is necessary at that safety position.

That was informative, although a lot of those things are things we have discussed on this board.

I do like hearing the praise of the QBs here. I know there are some who would like to see Dallas draft another one high, but I actually think that the two young guys here have a real chance.

I heard the interview and I can tell you with 100% confidence that Jerry in no way ruled out Terrel Owens.

He mentioned the baggage. He mentioned the play making ability. Said when someone of that magnitude is available you have to at least think about it. Mind you I am paraphrasing all of this, but JJ in no way shut the door to TO in that interview.

I love hearing the praise of the QBs also, but will we ever get to see them? I say if we can't get this line fixed this year it may be time to point the blame at an immobile QB and go in another direction. I am willing to give Bledsoe this year though.
