So what I am reading is Jerry gets a free pass because of something Jimmy Johnson built 30 years ago. At least Tex spread his success out over his 30 year span. Jerry had early success that was credited to Jimmy and hasn't squat since.

Yes, Jerry is a bad owner now and has been for nearly 30 years straight.
Okay ! Damn ! why not tell us how you really feel ! SHEESH ! LOL! No I'm not saying Jerry get's a free pass, I'm trying to find out why Jerry is soo hated, that's all

No I'm aware that Dallas had 20 straight playoffs appearances under Tex. Let's look at Jerry So 32 years ago Jerry bought the Cowboys correct?

Within four years, they won the Super Bowl and became arguably the greatest team in all of sports. San Fran , Pittsburgh and New England can argue but you would not be crazy if you made the argument. So all I'm asking is

why is Jerry Looked at with disdain, with his Three Super Bowls and Four straight trips to the NFC Championship Game. I acknowledge a fans right to be disappointed in the long wait to return to Glory, I'm just asking why Jerry is seen as

Such a terrible owner

Jerry was the one who signed the checks buddy. Jimmy was great but Jimmy was just as much at fault as Jerry for the split. Jimmy never realized such success again. At least Jerry won a Super Bowl without Jimmy

BTW< I'm still pissed about it, we could have ran off a string of maybe 5 in a row
Because Jerry only signed the checks, buddy.

Well Yeah, That's kind of Important is it not. Everything else comes from that. Does it not? signing the checks? What's more important than THAT.

Better to get there and lose than not get there at all.
Superbowl losers get a ring too, dont know what they say or look like though.

Also if you get there you will have a NFC Conf Champ ring.

It really isn't that hard to figure out if you haven't been hiding under a homer rock for the past 27 years.

This is a man who became severely envious that credit for the early success went to Jimmy (as it should have). While Jimmy was focused on the football aspect of the business, Jerry was rubbing elbows with the wealthy elite. Remember when he brought the Arab prince into the locker room? That was a stunt that really pissed off Jimmy because it drew focus away from football and began turning the franchise into the circus we see now. But things were great - until the distractions started, and all of them courtesy of Jerry.

Then we get the '500 coaches' thing that lead to Jimmy's departure - Barry won a super bowl, but credit again went to Jimmy because it was the team he built after all. Jerry didn't take that well at all.

Fast forward several years later. Dallas has gone through several years of mediocrity, but Jerry has decided he wants to build Jerry World with the help of tax payer money. Jerry knows he won't get the support unless he makes a good coaching hire to show the fans he is serious about winning. In comes Parcels followed by improvement on the field and the support for Jerry World. Things are looking up, but then the video of a drunk Jerry admitting why he hired Bill gets leaked. Not long after Jerry forces a toxic player (Owens) onto Parcels and it leads to him resigning at the end of that season.

Since 2010 we have endured 10 years of Garrett, countless terrible contracts, and Jerry admitting in interviews that he would have fired the schitty GM long ago if that was an option. Then we get the more recent comments that Jerry is only concerned with being 'relevant' or 'interesting' and he has no interest in going all in because of the risk. His spawn, Stephen, was even asked on local radio if money was more important than winning and blew the question off. He has said many times he would do anything to win, but he really doesn't mean it because he refuses to make the one change that is needed above all others. .

There is much more that I am leaving out (the party bus, leaked photos of him groping women young enough to be his great grand children, etc). By his comments alone he is clearly not interested in building a championship roster.

And you want to know why he is hated as much as he is? Open your eyes........... You have read everything I just wrote on this board many times, so why insist someone go there again? I opened this book with a comment that only someone hiding under a rock wouldn't know what Jerry has put this franchise through. It wasn't necessary to rehash this garbage for the 100 millionth time just because YOU want to know why Jerry is hated as much as he is. You already knew why.

Answer this question for me Tex Schram won two Super Bowls in 30 years and he's a GOD, Jerry Jones won three in 30 years and he's the worse thing to ever own the Cowboys

Why is that ?
While the 70s Cowboys won 2 Superbowls they went to 5 that decade.

Jerry in 30+ years have only been to 3 and it was just in 4 years and haven't even made an NFC championship game since.

Heck even the 80s Cowboys made multiple NFC championship games before Jerry bought them

I would rather not get there than get there and lose. It would be to painful.
I'd much rather be good enough to get there than to never make it all.
For Dallas it would mean they broke several of those streaks (never making an NFC title game in 27 years, never making a SB in 27 years, etc)

But yeah, making it and losing would be tough

Because Jerry’s ineptness for decades and disastrous decisions because of basically nepotism like Jason Garrett and pettiness, including not putting JJ in the ROH are why?

BTW, Jimmy Johnson won college championships, I think the first to win on both levels. Acting like him not winning in Miami proves he needed Jerry as much as Jerry needed Jimmy is complete garbage.

Jimmy actually brought in a lot of good players to Miami and his ability to evaluate talent hs what set him apart, he built a solid defense in Miami.

Jimmy went to Miami got a nice paycheck and go back to living most of his days on a boat. His heart was never in it, which is why he quit in 1998 but was convinced to come back when the owner allowed him to bring on Wannstedt and he groomed him that year to take over.
