The last 2 Dynasties meet in Feb

The 1992-1993 Dallas Cowboys were the best football team ever, bar none. There isnt a team in NFL history that could beat them at the top of their game.

I disagree. So do a lot of other people. Best team ever '85 Bears. And I really, really do not like the Bears, but I give them their due.

It you didnt win those 3 SB's in 4 years(like Us) you wouldnt be in here dropping your little Pats turds. Be honest.

Next!

Well, the quote is not working so I will use this. You are wrong, I posted on other boards when the Pats went 1-15.

Next!

Are those other boards still working?

If so, take a hike!

Next!

It took the salary cap and free agency for the Pats to even win a SuperBowl...! Prior to that, they were nothing but a practice game for most teams!

The Cowboys regressed during that time after winning 3 SuperBowls and are just now getting back to the top of the hill...

The 92 - 95 Cowboys would have smeared their best SuperBowl team all over the field...

New England Patriots...they should have lost that playoff game in the snow on their first SuperBowl...

Isn't this quite irrelevant? So if, and I say if, the Boys win the SB this year it is because of the salary cap and free agency??? Geez already. You can't have it both ways.

And if you look at the Raiders game, there should have been a call on hitting Brady during the so called tuck rule. And the Raiders had plenty of opportunities to win after that. One bad (or not so bad) call does not make a game. More than one, ala Steelers vs Seahawks is different. There is a bad call in every game. But you know what, watch the play. Brady was hit late, we did not get the call. TS already.

I haven'y been on this board long, but Patsfan seems like a pretty fair guy and not acting trollish. Does he do that sometimes? Seeing as how he is being attacked by some on here, I hope he deserves it

Editted note: maybe not attacked but people are sure being rude to the guy.

Thanks, but I'm OK. Just the way of the world today. I think most people like a good discussion with other team fans, but then you have to fight though the "other stuff".

It's OK.

Actually, you can have it both ways. Remember, after the 3 SuperBowls that the Cowboys won and then free agency and the salary cap kicked in, the Cowboys lost tons of good players to other teams. (hell, you guys might have got a player or two)

Compound that with all the coaching mistakes that Jerry made, the Cowboys are just now catching up...

But during the era prior to the salary cap and free agency, your team was nothing but a practice squad team to most clubs. Now that everything is a level playing field...now you won...good for you!

Again, those 92 - 95 Cowboys teams would have kicked the living ---- out of your teams BEST SuperBowl team.

Just thank Jerry Jones for being part if the process that brought the salary cap and free agency...because if not for him and a few other NFL owners...you would be in the basement where you were for the longest of time!

;)

If they had beaten me to a pulp in the SB, I might say the same thing.

However, I am a rational individual who did not get creamed by Chicago

Your not a troll...hang around and have fun. Just remember, "America's Team" is who the Dallas Cowboys are...that is why you are here...to learn from the best!

:D At least you are not an eagle fan...

Yeah... its slow and I really believe we will face the Pats in the upcoming SB. Both teams are primed for a deep run in the playoffs. We are younger and hungrier than the Pats. The Pats have one good run in them... but it will end SB night.

Dallas Cowboys 31
New England Patriots 28

I believe it is Athalon who is also predicting a 'Boys-Pats SB this year, but they got the winner wrong!

if we play the pats in the superbowl we will lose for 2 reasons

#1. we have never beaten a team with randy moss on it.

#2 we are not even in the pats league right now

Oh yeah :lmao2:
I forgot that it was the Pats that the Bears slaughtered.... I take some of the credit BACK from that Bears team... I mean... who did they beat... the practice team that someone just mentioned in this thread? LOL

No team that cannot dominate in the SB can be called a great team. One play difference and the Patsies LOSE all three of those SBs. What happens if they do not have maybe the best pressure FG of all time? Just a normal kicker? What other dynasty needed a FG KICKER to win their big games?
Case closed.

And who did the Patsies beat? Their first one they did slip by a top team. The others? Mcflabb and the beagles? Carolina?
Meanwhile our 90s team beat the Bills twice- probably the best team to never win a SB. And our WORST team, the 95 guys, beat a good Steeler team-by a margin greater then all three of the patsie wins put together.

I like the Saints to push for the title this year. They are going to be hard to stop offensively and they have made some minor tweaks to that defense. To me, they are the team to beat in the NFC right now.

Yep, you have to beat last year's best to consider yourself top dog. I believe Dallas has something to prove.

In 85 we did get creamed by Chicago, 44-0. Living here in Chicago, it was one of the worst games "I hate Chicago fans, yeah mom..."

The coolest thing about it though, after the Bears won the superbowl I had bet a friend that Dallas would win a superbowl before Chicago would ever get to one again:laugh1: !
