The last play was almost a TD

Now that the dust has settled, i went back and rewatched all the highlights. Anyone notice that their receiver was open and if that ball was 1 foot closer, we'd be having a different conversation. There were 3 defenders 1 or 2 yards off of him.
Not sure what's a bigger issues, the corners or lack of pressure.

Just looking at it from a different perspective
I thought we got excellent pressure the last play of the game.
Are we talking the same thing?
Thanks, John

You thought right and you can see that the future doesn't bode well for the Eagles with that right tackle playing instead of Lane Johnson. Watch what the Saints do to him this week.

I get where you are coming from only AJBrown was running in the direction of ball and 2-3 defenders with him, but no one was close enough to disturb the catch, if he could have got to the ball. but my peeve was I saw 2 -3 defenders in the face of Minshew , dont know how he could get the ball out like it was thrown, no body tipped it , or disturb the throw. Crazy

The crazy part was that Smith was open and there were 3 or 4 cowboys a step behind him.....as if they all got burned simultaneously!

Lane Johnson was out and there was pressure on that last drive. It will be interesting to see how the Eagles play without him.
Very good point. It was a great game. A classic game. But those Philly WR made some great catches. The game could have went either way. The defence stepped up in the second half. They only gave up 14 points in the second half…let’s take the W and be happy.

Just the perspective to the term "game of inches" and also the defense has gone from MVP to medium low tier. Just a concern. That's what forums are for.

Turpin was 2 steps from going all the way, and if there was no flag on the play. That’s the game, if this if that.

Wow, don't be blind. Having discussions on concerns that could truly bite us is in the upcoming games. We have a chance to play some very accurate QBs. Yes defense pressured him, but he wasn't off that much. Our pass rushers aren't getting there anymore. Our corners are being exposed. I'm curious to see what can be fixed
I doubt it can be fixed we are going to have to run the ball and out score them

Just re-watched it at 1/16th and that pass landed inbounds at least 3 feet from end line and 2 feet from sideline; an incredible pass given he threw it off his back leg with 2 guys in his face. Receiver and safety last look up at 2 yard line then give up on it. Amazingly it then just drops out of the air well inbounds and looks like the receiver could have had it had he not let up at the 2. Our 4 guys and their receiver had all given up and just trotted in to end zone not looking up so maybe not as catchable as it looks from observers.
