Terrence Williams and Beaz too, have taken a lot of heat.....its the QB change and level of play both have shown. Everybody on the receiving group has been negatively impacted by two QBs who can't see down field. Today.....97 yds passing???? Weeks prior it was dump offs and unwillingness to scan the field, including never going to the left side. Terrible....just plain terrible.

Well, one thing Weeden did that Cassel has a real hard time with is physically passing the ball deep. Cassel just never seems to get anything on it. When Weeden DID uncork one down the field, he at least had the arm to get it there.

The legend of Weeden grows.

They are but you would expect a quality coahing effort to pull us through when we hold a team to 13. There is no identity on offense right now. None.

Bill Walsh couldn't coach up Brandon Weedon or Matt Cassel. Quit blaming the coaches. The players have to make plays. We got our first turnover since Week 2, is that coaches fault?

Cassel was even missing on dumpoff passes today at least Weeden hits those.

Win as a team, lose as a team. No point in blaming anyone. It only serves to divide. The multitude of injuries incurred by this team is overwhelming. Too much to think winning is still possible without Romo. Dez is not the savior that many of you thought he would be. Dez does nothing without Romo. The D did another fine job but the offense is just pitiful. The numerous injuries have all but assured the coaches will not be held accountable for the string of loses this year.

I say Weeden wins 2 of 3 games with Dez Bryant in the lineup. Weeden had to dump off because no one was open down the field. I'll take a QB with a rocket arm over a wet noodle like Cassel any day. Cassel couldn't even manage a touchdown with Bryant in the lineup.

It's funny that this thread is still around. If Bleu Cheese Star and his dim-witted buddies hadn't kept bumping it to kick Weeden while he was down, this thread would be buried by now. Instead it puts his and many others' football IQ on full display.

"Cassel will give us an even better chance this weekend after having a full game of film to study and understand the nuances of where his plays could have been more successful."

97 yards passing? Nice call, Bleu Cheese. Nice call. But don't worry, when it comes to having no clue, you've got plenty of company around here.

I love you too.

Cassell > Weedone

All day everyday.

I realize that's not saying much today but it is indeed the truth. Bottom line, we are grasping for straws until Romo returns. I would much rather see someone out there with some mindset to challenge downfield (Cassell) vs someone that can't see past 3 yards beyond the LOS (WeeDONE).

I'm floored that there are some here who actually believe the coaches are bulletproof.

For any initiative, let's say a major business project, there must be a plan. It must be referenced regularly and every single member of that project team must not only understand it. They must function as if it is engrained in each one of their lives. Without a plan, you are simply a group of people wandering aimlessly.

Now.....

Who is responsible for conveying that plan and ensuring every member of the team is strategically locked in? Is it the players? Is it the project team members?

I welcome your thoughts.

Coaches are not untouchable and, in this situation, they are indeed coming up short regularly.

& again, screw Weedone. He never gave us one iota of "chance". Cassell might atually win a game before Romo returns if our coaches would help not only him but the other 52 as well in pulling together a winning strategy.

Who exactly is he challenging downfield at 97 yards passing and 3 yards per attempt? Now you're just being silly. And stop bumping this thread... Weeden has been redeemed and should be allowed to sit on the bench in peace.

If you don't like my commenting in a thread I created, go play elsewhere.

The players play hard. So Garrett's culture as head coach is still working just fine.

Linehan, though, left a lot to be desired in a lot of the running plays he called. Too many stretch runs. I'm not sure how much input Garrett has in the offense but you don't run stretch plays over and over against the best pursuit defense in the league. Especially asking Doug Free to try and seal Michael Bennett on the back side one on one. Come on.
