It is a fact that the Birds have choked in the biggest game of the year in the last 5 years for them. Now you did beat us in Philthy and props to you for doing so, but to be celebrating a win like that in the first quarter of the season pretty much says it all. And the fallout of putting so much into that game is of course laying an egg the next week against the Saints. Who you should have beaten. BUT CHOKED.

Yes, they should have beat them, you're right. Just like the Giants too. They should be 6-0, but they aren't. At 4-2, they can get only better, as they should. I'm not putting too much into the Cowobys win, just proving a point that fans around seem to forget. The Eagles are the better team.

Better team that is premature. Think back to the 4th and one and we went ahead and won the superbowl. Think back to the Chargers,they went 8-0 then ended up 8-8. What i'm saying come back to me at the end of the season going into the playoffs. So all that premature ejaculation you are talking doesn't amount to anything. At least your trophy case is easy to clean right about now.

Philly fans never change. They all think they are the best and most dedicated fan base in sports. Some how through all the years of suffering they believe they have the right to be jaded and one sided in their views. How else could they defend the actions of others in the stands. When you really break it down, philly fan is a huge whiner.

The Eagles do have a past, last time I checked. No, it must suck having to go into another decade to try and prove a point. You're failing miserably.

I agree. Philly has a very long and storied past of NOT winning championships.

the eagles have beat the cowboys but on a regular basis for nearly a decade now. so they havent won a SB, that doesnt make it easier for me, i am tired of losing and losing in a bad way to them. They have always been an extremely tough team to play at home, we had opportunities this year and blew it.

As far as who is the better team, i think they are better at Oline and QB, that is it, but it shows you how important the QB position is in todays NFL. Think about this, since Irvin retired the cowboys have struggled at philly, even with aikman at QB and it got worse when he left.

Eagles fans do get pretty riled up after a loss, but they are faithful and expect a win everytime they take the field. By the way, the eagles fans were by and large well behaved for the cowboys game. I think things are changing and the new stadium with increased ticket prices may have a lot to do with that. I have a lot of friends that are eagles fans and none of them are obnoxious about it, we have pretty good football talks and its intresting to get their perspective sometimes.

Raising the ticket price does tend to keep the bums out somewhat. I still think that putting in a holding cell, judge and rubber hoses is a good idea.

The Philly fans are a dedicated lot. They have to be to keep watching a team that either sucks or chokes all of the time.
