One of my best friends is a psyco Bronco fan, and he told me last week that he especially wants to keep Warren that he was key in the middle. Just an opinion from a Denver fan.

I thought somewhere I read that Nedney resigned

You may have. But he hasn't, officially.

No deal between Nedney, 49ers -- at least not yet

By Dennis Georgatos

Mercury News

The 49ers on Tuesday denied a report by ESPN.com that they had reached an agreement in principle with kicker Joe Nedney.
Nedney, a pending free agent, can't negotiate with the team until Friday, when the veteran-minimum contract he signed last year expires.
However, the 32-year-old Nedney, who played at Santa Teresa High and San Jose State, has a good relationship with the 49ers; the sides have said they expect to get a multiyear deal done, perhaps as early as Friday.
Nedney, after missing virtually all of two seasons because of injuries, returned last year to convert 24 of 26 field-goal attempts, including 10 of 10 from 40-49 yards. He shared team MVP honors with linebacker Derek Smith.

Linebackers
Akin Ayodele (a lot of people have mentioned him, but I don't see him being a fit for the outside, he isn't a seasoned pass rusher, I could see us moving him inside, but he is going to be a pretty highly sought after linebacker)

Willie McGinest (Parcells Guy, might get served up because of his cap charge, perfect fit opposite of Ware).

I could maybe see us going after Tommy Polley for the inside. It is evident we're going to try to answer the position in the draft as well as free agency. We need help inside and outside. That outside spot is pretty key in terms of the future of our defense. I'm really hoping we can land McGinest.

Both Polley and Ayodele are outside linebackers and don't project well to the 3-4, at least inside.
