My Granddaddy, Travis Tidwell Burson, passed away last night at 10:40 Texas time, he was 75 and was overcome by cancer.

He went mercifully in the deep sleep he never awoke from, the family will mourn but I pray it will be a time to stir the hearts of my largely spiritually apathetic family to reflect upon where my Granddaddy has gone and why it is the terrible seperation has come to be.

Thank you for your mighty prayers, I must trust that our just God has done what His will saw fit to do, I pray it included claiming my Granddaddy for Himself.

-Travis

Sorry to hear aikbach, you certainly have made him proud in that you are a true Cowboys fan. I would bet that that would be just a small part of his pride toward you. May he rest in peace and your entire family be wrapped in love. Peace A.B.

I lost my stepdad to cancer in 2003...

God will be with you during your time of grief...

Now your Granddad can watch the Cowboy games through the hole in the roof with the best seats in the heavenly household...

Again, God bless and may he grant you and yours his peace.
