Yeah idc anymore. I used to care about the trolls and the memes…. But to be honest. They’re right! They always have been right. We’re a joke and laughingstock and it’s been going on for years.

Jerry kept Jason garret on as coach for what 8-10 years? Perfect example of not caring about one’s fanbase.

I truly don’t care we lost. Def not as much as in years past. It’s just not worth it

Lol, I was watching the game with a group of close friends (A Packers fan included) and they were all getting a kick out of my criticism of the Cowboys. Some people think being a fan means you root and support no matter what. I think being a fan means you have the right to criticize the way they are run. Lol, let's just say that Jerry and Son give you alot of ammo
Yeah we have some of these here, they're called blind homers. I won't name names. :muttley:

You become numb after a while and this is all to be expected...when you don't even show up for a game it is beyond pathetic at least show some fight

For the past few years, the losses don't have a detrimental impact on me like in years past.
This team/organization has conditioned me to no have overly high expectations so I take every win and loss in stride. They either deserve to win or they deserve to lose.
They haven't done anything of note in almost 30 years so it does me no good to get worked up or depressed on the outcomes.
I went into this game having high hopes they may have turned the corner but I was still a realist in knowing they could easily lose this game and they did.
Accurate post that fits many of us.

I'm numb to it but this one ticked me off. I've over it now. It's all part of the circus. This season didn't happen in my book. It makes me sick to think of the opportunities wasted.

This is the mature rational response.

Getting worked up or depressed over a game is not healthy.

Be glad you have grown as a person.

We had to know that McCarthy and Quinn were not going to take this team to the Superbowl. Come on, now, McCarthy can't even manage a game well in the regular season. LOL

We were just living a dream that was never going to happen.

Better to get blown out by the 7th seed so we realize just how bad this combination of coaches and players are. Kinda glad this team didn't lose by 3 in the NFC Championship Game, because JJ would have been inclined to just run it back next season with Diggs.

Nope, that won't be enough.

BYE McCarthy!

In my heart we were going to make it to the NFC title game and probably lose to SF, but being someone whose never seen us reach the title game, the thought of even getting there was exciting since anything can happen. Just another let down

Same here. I used to let it ruin my day. Now I have other things to be more concerned about. It sucks but it's not the end of the world.

Back in about 06 or so. I stopped caring. Not going to let a loss ruin my evening or the next day. I act the same after a win or loss. I have no effect on the game so why get emotional over it. Life is good. My power went out so I went and had sushi and saki. This loss really didn't bother me at all. Oh well next season

the only thing FUN about the losses, is watching the delusional fans accept 1 of 2 roads, they either stay hype boys, or come to the side of reality.

other than that, nothing.

Sports losses don’t really hurt me anymore, at least not in the way one typically means. The pain is in the totality of a season ending in one 3 hour window. It’s not so much the one game as it is the feeling that 4.5 months of your attention was wasted.

This cannot hurt as we all pretty much expected this facade to come to its conclusion.
Laughter is gold and this circus offers tons.

This team could go 17-0 next season, and I’d still expect them to be one and done. That’s how much PTSD I have from all the choke jobs

They normally don't bother me much anymore, but this one did. I told my wife this morning and I even posted it on a thread....I woke up with a funny feeling about this one. She asked. What do you mean.....I told, I mean we're going to lose. Had a bad feeling going in and it just got worse.

I am generally a very optimistic fan, but on the 1st Green Bay drive after the sack was turned into an first down by the flag for illegal contact I literally looked over at my friend I was watching the game with and said “Dallas is going to get blown out today”. They asked how could I possibly know that 2 minutes into the game and I told them that the feeling was all too familiar.

We have literally seen the same pattern of behavior so many times that it is clearly visible to anyone that has watched enough Cowboys football over the years when this team is going to fold.

At this point, I don’t even care after the losses. The fact I barely even registered much disappointment at all after today is actually kind of sad to me. Definitely have lost some of the passion I used to have for this team.

Apathy, I have had it for years since Jerry and his dumb son could truly care less about winning anything other than brand economic s.

No longer aggressive in roster building and difference making coaches and players unless home grown.

Also usually over value declining or average talent and overpay.

I was ready to riot after 2007. At this point I don't care enough to bother. It is what it is and it's not going to change.
I was depressed after 2007. 2014 hurt a lot. 2016 was bad. But slowly after that, I just don't care as much. I turned this game off today middle of 3rd. I just don't have time to invest in stuff that gives me zero in return. I am in a much different place now. Have a fiance, a dog, a much better job. My life doesn't revolve around these sports teams any longer. Especially these millionaire players and billionaire owners who don't know we exist personally.

Life goes on.
