I don't see it.

Good for Purdy, he's playing really well.

Honestly what I see is roughly the same as 2016 Dak.

lol...you are right, the game came down to one or two plays...actually two plays, two Ints!
Two dropped picks, Pollard injury, missed hit by Diggs on the the TE. Take your pick.

You could argue the two picks cost us 3 points.

Yes because the 2007 team sucked.....

Hilarious "Dak needs all pros everywhere"
Romo has a team with like 10+ on it that loses in the playoffs
"Give Romo this team with 3 on it and he wins against an even better team that beat him with 10 on it"
Give it up man Dak=Romo..Romo=Dak it is what it is. You memory and actual history do not match up.

Not even close. Purdy can read a defense.
Not really.

Shanahan and his offensive scheme might be the very best in the NFL.
- The scheme made it easy for Purdy.
- Shanahan tells him before the play exactly which receiving target and where.
- Purdy then pretends to look elsewhere waiting for his primary target to get to his spot.
- The only read that Purdy does is to find the checkdown if the primary target is not an option.
- On many plays the non-primary targets are already getting ready to block for the primary target before the pass reaches the primary.
- i.e. Only 1 receiving option is even looking towards the QB with the exception that they often have a checkdown option in the flat area.
- I remember a specific play where it was comically obvious where there was only 1 target.
- On my next review, I'll get the time in the game for that play and post it.

The Niners win the game even if they had swapped QBs with Dallas.

Romo without the untimely turnovers.

Man what a steal they got. Very jealous of the 49ers, I really think they are gonna go all the way this year and are set for the near future. The guy is a spitting image of Romo, from his scrambling to his release and the way he hangs in the pocket. I wish we got him.
They got lucky. The draft is a crapshoot, especially with QBs. I think SF loses to Philly. Their pass rush will find a way to make Purdy make a mistake. They have the pass rush we had earlier in the season. Plus their offense won’t be stuck in the mud like ours was.

So, the two picks are cool with you, huh? What you posted is not why the game was lost and you know it, just don't want to show it. Why are everyone except a few of you Dak lovers dogging Dak for losing that game?

Never mind, it was the other players that lost the game, Dak played just fine. What the hell was I thinking, Roy, sorry bout that. smdh

they have a geat GM. he built a team knowing that finding a franchise QB is tough. they are tough, physical on both sides of the ball. he has physical WR, with YAC ability, tough TE and traded for one of the best dual threats in the NFL. he built a great front 4, that anchors the rest of the defense by investing with high draft picks.

good GMs know how to build teams and how to spot talent and then there is a little bit of luck. now, if Purdy is really all that and they believe in him, then they can trade Lance for additional draft picks. they won't get a top 5, but they can get minimally a high second rounder.

Not impressed with Purdy at all, seems super slow to me and not much of an arm. No comparison to Romo at all imo. Purdy will not be a starter long I don’t think.

Purdy doesn’t make many mistakes.

In that regard he’s better than Dak and Romo.

We will see if that continues against the Eagles, which of course will be a much tougher test for the rookie.

Why looking at stats at face value is meaningless without the larger picture.

Cowboys were certainly loaded that year which can't be denied however absolutely no reason why we shouldn't have won that game comfortably. Crayton crushed the team leaving argurably 14pts off the board kind of how like Dak did Sunday.

Gave up the route on an easy walk in TD. Then dropped argurably an 80+ yard TD or what have been a ridiculously large gain of 60-70+ yards.

Giants defense that year also lead the league in sacks and fumbles forced. We also committed 11 soul crushing penalties(nothing has changed lol). We also out gained the giants by over 100 yards

Why it's a "team" game

Something tells me that the Niners are going to hang more than 19 points on the Eagles and we’ll really appreciate the job Quinn’s boys did last Sunday …….just got that feeling

So you are calling Purdy a future choke artist?

Glass houses bro.
https://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation...s-have-most-first-team-ap-all-pros-since-1969

Dak had 5 first team all pros in 2016. Most in Cowboys history since 1969
Lost first playoff game.

Point being, if 5 was the most the Cowboys have had since 1969, then Romo never had "10 +" as you claim.

literally making sh!t up out of thin air, and hoping nobody notices.

Well, for the 49ers sake, lets hope too much Romo doesn't come out in him against Philly. But yeah, he reminded me of Romo when I watched him against Seattle.
