The 38-0 to the Cardinals.

The loss to the 0-11 Bills.

The playoff loss to the 9-7 Rams, who pormptly followed it up with a 51-7 to the skins to show how bad we really had to be to lose to them.

The 44-0.

The 43-3.

The loss to the expansion Texans in their first game ever.

The Ravens game last week.

And now this.

Thank god we have some history to lean on.

I have good friend in my neighborood that is from Nebraska. He's a huge KC Chiefs fan. He called me to see if I was alright. Then almost apologetically said "Hey, they're better than the Chiefs."

I was kinda numb to yesterday after watching Baltimore last week. The Baltimore game and those 2 long runs kinda ripped my heart out. Yesterday was just stomping on it while it was barely beating!

Easily the Raven game.

-Last game in historic Texas Stadium

-All of the alumni present including the 5 Super Bowl teams

-Even though a horrible game from the Cowboys, they have two chances to stop obvious runs with all 3 timeouts remaining and they allow a 77 and an 88 yard run

That game showed we had no heart and no "team".

Losing to the Texans in their franchise debut is still the most embarrassing

I was still in highschool when that happened.

Everyone knew how big of a Cowboy fan I was. Including my football coaches.

So they thought it would be funny to print off pictures of the scoreboard and tape it onto my locker.

I had all kinds of messages taped to my locker saying "momma's dont let your baby's grow up to be Cowboys" and junk like that.

That loss hurt me more than any loss ever.

The Seahawk loss was a close 2nd though.

Im just glad I wasn't alive to see the Pittsburgh game from back in the day when Harris dropped the TD pass.

Yesterdayu just felt like another walk in the park. I was ready for something like that.

It's always going to feel like that.

But I would agree.

Even last year I wasn't embarrassed when we lost to the Giants, because we really should have won that game. But yesterday we got just absolutely dominated and exposed, in front of everybody. :(

Should have done what I did, I didn't watch the game, still have not seen the highlights and guess what? my blood pressure is all good. :D

I'm taking the Romo approach, it's "ok".

Only problem is, I did watch the Ravens game, still not over it, and I have no plans on getting over it anytime soon.:bang2:

Whoops, there goes my blood pressure. :bang2:

To be honest, the loss to the Texans was the only time as an adult that I was too ashamed to wear my Cowboys stuff in public.

I will still wear my Cowboys gear even after this terrible finish of 2008 because I am far more angry than embarassed.

Yes this is true for me also. After that game was the first time I was ever temporarily embarassed to be a Cowboys fan. I'm not too embarassed about yesterday, I've come to expect it, I'm used to it now!:(

Yesterday is the worst, most embarressing, in my lifetime. The Ravens game was bad but at least we were actually in that game. At least we showed some signs, during the game, of actually trying to win.

Yesterday we were never even in the game. That's the most pathetic effort I've ever seen by a team in my lifetime. I'm sure there are worse ones, bigger ones, in the history of the franchise that I missed when I was younger or not born but this is the worst one I've ever seen since being a Cowboys fan.

It would be one thing if this team didn't have any talent and wasn't supposed to go anywhere but with the talent on this team to lose in the way we did yesterday...wow.

Same. Im used to it as well.

It sucks because I have developed a losers mentality as a fan.

I saw people predicting us to win all week and I was just never confident enough to do the same.

I had a friend that I told after week 3 of the season when the Cowboys wre riding high and everyones Superbowl pick that even though we look great to not trust these guys because they will break your heart.

13 weeks later we are 9-7. Am I suprised? No.

The only comparison would be the end of the 1983 season.

At 12-2, we were set to face the also 12-2 Skins. Dallas held the tie breaker going in to the game as they had beaten the Skins 31-30 in a miracle comeback the first game of the season. This game was clearly going to not only decide the division, but number 1 seed and most people also had Dallas as the favorite to win it all.

Dallas got destroyed by the Skins 31-10 in a terrible effort.

The team's psyche was destroyed by this loss.

The following week (the last of the season) they laid down for the 49ers who blew them away 42-17.

If this wasn't bad enough, the Cowboys were still a wild card at 12-4, and were set to face the 9-7 Rams. In the most pathetic display of all, the Cowboys lost to the far inferior Rams 24-17 to end the season on 3 straight losses.

Oh, by the way... the Rams followed up the win over Dallas by getting blown out 51-7 by the Skins to show just how bad Dallas had to lay an egg to lose to them.

I should also mention that Dallas was a mere 3 points away from being 14-0 going in to that Skins game. That is how good they were up to that point.

The Ravens game was bad but it wasn't nearly as bad as losing to the Commanders on Monday Night when Brunell to Santana Moss torched us twice at the end of the game to win it.

I don't even know if it was as bad as the Steelers game this year.

The Cowboys are becoming, dare I say the Rangers. Atleast the Rangers teams that used to be competitive until the All Star break. Thanksgiving is the Cowboys All Star break.:( Oh well I always hold out hope that things will get better when Stephen takes over, whenever that is.
