Always liked Campo and think he is an excellent defensive coach.

I think its cool hell be on HBO again. Twice for Hard Knocks and that cameo he made on The Moonlight Bunny Ranch

I think he'll be great as well. We've actually got talent, and I don't think he's a great guy at developing it--coaching it is a different thing though. I think he's got that down.

That said>>>:banghead: about Hard Knocks. I think the idea is bad for the team.

Campo, Hard Knocks, and Jerry completely running the show again brings back some really really horrid memories that I tried to repress...but other than that, welcome aboard, Dave!

I'm on board with that.

I think, collectively, we have one of the better coaching staffs out there. If it's not the best, it's darn sure close to one of them--if we're going by resumes.

Does anyone have thoughts on this? What are some of the players ya'll will be watching?

Personally, I'm not real thrilled with it. I don't dislike the man and I recognize that as a position coach he is a good one. I just don't like the feel of going backwards. I had hoped to never see him on our sidelines again. I preferred we go after Emmitt Thomas, then the Falcons shut that down. Then I was really hoping we would bring in Dennis Thurman and have Thurman's Thieves Part 2.

I love it.....for personal reasons.....one of my friends knows him personally and when in San Antonio, coach Campo gets us on the field.....and I got to try on one of his SB rings and he is just a super nice guy.

I am glad to have him back and look forward to visiting him in S.A. next year training camp.

I like Campo as a position coach. He was just put in a bad situation as a head coach. He was in WAY over his head and had a bad team on top of it.
