The Most Painful NFL Teams to Watch (Cowboys #7)

Lad, I am glad you brought up fatigue. I noticed players gasping for breath with mouths opened in the 3rd and 4th quarters -- on defense And offense. Dez often seemed fatigues though he made little impact on moving the ball and the O line seemed . . . disoriented at times.
The defense seemed to be fatigues EVERY 4th qauarter. It might be as you mentioned that the defense's fatigue owed much to the offense's 3 and out act for much of the year. Maybe a lack of conditioning. Maybe the hurry-up tempo of the opposing offenses took the wind out of the defense.
That is something I hope the coaches (the ones not fired) will look at in the offseason.

I would have thought the "Finish the Fight" Tshirts would have helped this relentless bunch.

Naw, they would have bickered over royalties and then fatigued themselves even more.
Greed, underachievement, thoughts of grandeur. Awful team and awful results this season.

I have this wish: That a new coach comes in next year, breathing fire a la Jimmy Johnson, and he whips this team of prima donas into top condition. I don't ask for overnight success but I should at least be able to dream that they will show stamina and will power albeit in a losing season.

Now your talking mate !!! Jimmy Johnson was the man to turn the team around. Who can we get out there now to turn this wreck of a ship around, eh ????

They have been painful to watch, but at the same time all but 3 of the games have come down to the last few possessions.

Cowboys # 7 & I have watched every single game this season all the way thru (even till the rolling credits ended) as probably most of you all diehards have too.
I figured they would be higher than 7. I nearly fell asleep during the Packers game when Cowboys were on offense (and they weren't on offense long LOL). Nearly! If it wasn't for a free shot of Jäger offered by a bar buddy i probably would have fallen asleep. ;)

They're #1 on my book.

After stoops wins the national championship he is ours?
I also would love to have harbaugh from the awful ravens.
Those two alone would give back our credibility.
No more milquetoast and gutless Garrett.

Painful to watch... if you're a Cowboys fan. I suspect the haters have enjoyed watching the Cowboys this year.

I think we're easily number 1, unless another team went on to lose 7 games after being tied or having the lead in the 4th quarter.

we have been first in this category quite a few times....

I think the defense was the best unit to watch. Why? Their incompetence sometimes turned into competent plays and scrappy players sometimes looked as if they played on a Top 5 rated defense. Sadly, their incompetence usually returned and the secondary allowed big TD plays and receptions all over generally.

The Dallas offense was boring to watch. Predictable, no imagination and SO MUCH futility on third downs.

This team cant be worse next year. that is what is keeping me optimistic.

for the meantime, let's think DRAFT!!!!

I look forward to the draft and I will have a draft !!!!!!!!!!!!! Or a pint MATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
