The Most Painful NFL Teams to Watch (Cowboys #7)

I quit drinking alcohol almost six years ago. Watching this team has tempted me to go back to boozing. I've had to get through every one of these games sober. I need to buy one of those foam TV bricks.

Painful to watch... if you're a Cowboys fan. I suspect the haters have enjoyed watching the Cowboys this year.

That reminds me, workaday bloke, as bad as we have it here in the safe confines of the state of Texas when the Cowboys have a bad season, imagine our compadres and mates who lives elsewhere. Why I remember when I was doing time in New Mexico and California how awful those Mondays were when the Cowboys lost. Smug, elitist and with a smirk that I wished in my darkest parts of my heart that Randy White would wipe off from their face!

So here is my yearly salute to you brave and loyal fans outside of Texas who face this scrutiny and ridicule when the Cowboys lose a game or have a bad season.
Be mindful that one of these days, your loyalty will be reward. if not here then with an endless supply of pints in heaven, dear boys and girls.

You could make beer out of white bread and filter it with the foam brick. My time incarcerated did not go to waste, mate!

Back in the day when I was in the military(only time I've been out of Texas), anytime I was at a pub/bar and I saw someone sporting Cowboys gear, I always rewarded them with a drink on me.

See? That is what separates us from the lower human animals, mate.
Not only are we the good guys, we assuage the thirst of the deserving masses.

I remember that NFC divisional game against the 49ers -- I forget if it was before or after our championship run, probably before -- when I took off the ankle device and traveled to a sports bar in Newport Beach, Calif. It was filled to the rafters with 49er fans. The rancor against me did not bother me as much as the game's outcome but I never felt so lonely before in my life. It would have been good for someone to buy me a drink to drown my sorrows that Sunday. (Prime Time interfered with Irvin!!!!!)
Now I am in Farmers Branch and again, I feel lonely because I can read and write. . . .

This team is hot garbage this year and has been for about 17 of the last 20 years...and as for a coaching change, what coach worth anything would want to come here and work for Jerry?...

This, and we only get as high as #7?

7. Dallas Cowboys

They’ve started Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel this year, and it shows. They have the second-fewest big plays this season and are in the top 10 of getting big plays called back by penalty.

The sad part is that the coaches and fans now are upbeat about Kellen Moore. Just the way we once were about Weedon and then Cassell.
Nothing can turn this team around the way a solid, blue-chip QB in the draft, forged and honed by a college drill sergeant coach and strong collegiate competition. We don't even need a Cam Newton, just a solid Troy Aikman-like QB who will make the rare mistake but will skillfully and forcefully take a team down the field and wring out the O lineman who misses an assignment or the receiver who doesn't run the correct route. And, yes, strong arm and a stronger brain.

As long as we get a QB that looks good in the shower Jerry will be happy

yeah but they say at the top, the cowboys Commanders game was highest rated mon night game of the year.
So not too boring !

Cowboys are more boring without romo, but I was very not bored watching moore last game.
