Wonder how much the franchise would be worth now if the team had won more playoff games, made more NFC championship appearances, and/or reached/won Super Bowls during the past 28 years? Better managed football operations could have possibly accomplished some or all of that.

Jed Clampett and Jethro Bodine never allowed that possibility to happen. No qualified football executive could have managed the team better than those two have done during the past three decades--as far as they were concerned.
