Just saw this on Cowboys blog (posted 11:30 AM something this morning). Know most of us (including me) tired of this whole thing but gotta admit any chance that Romo's had enough of Jessica suits me just fine. If any truth to below, maybe we Cowboy fans shouldn't worry about his life love. Mr. Committment long-term (Tony Romo) he is not. Underwood lasted about 4-6 months, 2nd babe about 5 weeks & Simpson might be on way out after about 3 months. Oh to be 27, single, wealthy and the Dallas Cowboys franchise QB.

Tabloid reports, which may or may not be true, indicate that Tony Romo is sick and tired of Jessica Simpson. A pal of the blonde babe told OK! (love a publication that has an exclamation point in its name!!!) that Romo recently busted out the ol' just-wanna-be-friends speech.

"Tony has finally started to realize how high-maintenance Jessica is," says her friend. "We're talking diva status. She comes with an entourage, and that includes her dad, Joe Simpson. What's not to love?"​

Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo has reportedly dumped Jessica Simpson, who was widely blamed for costing him a shot at the Super Bowl.
"Tony is now starting to blame her himself," a pal told OK! magazine. "Before dating Jessica, he was Texas' golden boy. Now he's become a joke."


A few days after the Giants bounced the Cowboys from the playoffs, Romo called the "Dukes of Hazzard" star to tell her their romance was over.
"He said he thought it was better if they went back to being friends," a pal of hers said.


A final breaking point came when Romo told Simpson he wouldn't move to L.A. - and she responded there was no way she could leave Tinseltown.
"It was the moment he realized it wasn't going to work with Jessica in the long term," the pal told OK!.

Amen to that! He needs to focus on football and stop worrying about bagging celebrities.

Aikman waited until much later in his career to begin a family and Skippy Brainless assumed (hoped) it was because Troy was gay but in fact Troy just put his family life on the back burner until he was really ready for it.

Football and family/romance are not compatible. The celebrity life is also not compatible with football and will get the guys in trouble every time.
