Two bits of good news for fans of America’s Team. First, Hitler gets to wear that TO jersey with pride because the NFL’s most egotistical WR is staying in Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones plans to pay Terrell Owens’ $3 million roster bonus, which means the All-Pro wide receiver will be back for the final season of his three-year, $25 million contract.
“Yes, we are going to have Terrell back,” Jones said Tuesday at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
Jones added that a contract extension for Owens is something he would consider “down the line.”
Owens finished with 81 catches for 1,355 yards and a team-record 15 touchdown receptions.

“Tony is now starting to blame her himself,” a pal told OK! magazine. “Before dating Jessica, he was Texas’ golden boy. Now he’s become a joke.”
A few days after the Giants bounced the Cowboys from the playoffs, Romo called the “Dukes of Hazzard” star to tell her their romance was over.
“He said he thought it was better if they went back to being friends,” a pal of hers said.

Just when it seemed like Jessica Simpson and her quarterback hunk Tony Romo might not go the distance, the two were spotted cavorting together on a seemingly romantic hunting trip over the weekend in Texas.

But now OK! has learned all might not be well just yet as insiders say the trip was a last-ditch effort to save their relationship.

On Jan. 17, Tony called Jessica at her L.A. home to try to break things off. "He said he thought it was better if they went back to being friends," a pal of the singer tells OK!. "'Just friends' is not in Jessica's vocabulary, and she is not a victim. She knows how bad this will look in the media."

But according to the pal, Jessica refused to give up, and so Tony invited her on what he thought would be the worst date of her life: a hunting trip! "It's Tony's way of punishing Jess," laughs her friend. "Jessica Simpson hunting — and without her entourage? Forget it!"

Only time will tell if these two will make it. But according to an insider,"Tony has finally started to realize how high-maintenance Jessica is," says her friend. "We're talking diva status. She comes with an entourage, and that includes her dad, Joe Simpson. What's not to love?"

I rarely read anything pertaining to Jessomo, but this is rather interesting.

I wonder if the comment "Before dating Jessica, he was Texas' golden boy. Now he's become a joke." is really something Tony Romo has taken to heart?

If true, over time, he will learn that people are extremely fickle and that winning heals all wounds.

The only reason I am somewhat happy the Jessomo is no more is because I was sick of hearing about it.

Look at it this way, Tony would not have let her call a lawyer to deny there was a break up. He would have taken her to a Hollywood hot spot and been pictured by the Papp------/. That would have put an end to the break up story. He is still in south Texas with his Grandma, and she is bar hopping in Calif. Draw your own conclusions.
She dragged out her breakup with John Meyer forever , I guess for the publicity she gets out of having her name in the paper yet another day. Nothing like paying your lawyer for a little publicity when you can't find a rich quarterback.

Hope you folks didn't get your hopes up by the tabloid reports that Tony Romo dumped Jessica Simpson.

Her lawyer sent a very scary letter to OK! Magazine (that TMZ.com got its hands on) saying that the story was a bunch of bull and the gossip rag better print a big, ol' correction. Except John J. Rosenberg used much fancier words.

The letter mentioned that the story subjected Miss Simpson to "public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace," and if I correctly read all those multi-syllable words, she might sue. So please, folks, be nice to Romo's lady in the comments on this here blog.

I did not see this anywhere, but on a radio station the other day, maybe Dan Patrick, said Romo dumped Jessica and was actually blaming her and her dad for having him go from the "star" to a joke.

...Listening to WSB 750 (talk radio in Atlanta) and during the news break it was reported that Tony has dumped Jessica....

Just so everyone knows...it did not come from an "Opie and Anthony" type format....WSB is true talk radio (Rush, Sean Hannity, Neil Bortz, etc.). That does not make it gospel, but at least it was not coming from two guys broadcasting from their garage...

If it's true, I just hope that this whole experience (media constantly on him about Jess), has not jaded Mr. Romo.....we need him happy and smiling....
