The new Dallas Cowboys Stadium will offer $90 pizzas

The colossal new Dallas Cowboys Stadium is living proof that everything is bigger in Texas. The menu in the luxury suites proves that things there are more expensive too.

Those enjoying a Cowboys game from a luxury suite at the new stadium will have to shell out $90 for pizza and $66 for a 12-pack of domestic beer, reports Steven Sipple of the Lincoln Journal World. Ninety bucks for pizza? That's almost as much of a rip-off as Roy Williams.

It costs $800,000 per year to lease one of those luxury suites, a hefty sum that doesn't include game tickets. On the bright side, the stadium's official Web site says that "having your company's name on a suite makes an important statement about your success" and can help make an impression on clients. (Namely that they're paying you way too much money.)

As for the $90 pizza, that's the cost for a plain pizza. No word on how much each topping costs but, suffice it to say, if you're a fan of pepperoni you may want to consider refinancing your mortgage before you head down to watch the Cowboys.

Thanks, The Sporting Blog

I predict there will be people fool enough to pay those prices.

I also predict I won't be one of them.

A $90 dollar pizza? Just eat before you come, and bring a pack of nuts or something.

Geeeeze

Hell, I could sneak in a whole pizza for $12.

the staff uniform at the stadium must be a ski mask and a gun.

If a person is willing to dish out $800,000.00 for the suite to watch the game, I doubt that person would be pissed off about $90. That's how I see it.

Not right now. The Yankees learned that the hard way with the economy. And I'm not sure the Yankees or the Cowboys will get those filled for quite some time.

I was understanding that they are all almost completely sold out.

The thing too I think people aren't recognizing are that a bunch of these aren't being sold to individuals at all. Business entertainment expenses folks. LLC's, S and C corps probably (I have no evidence of this of course) own most of them and will use them as tax write offs.

Dad's old rodeo tickets were there for that reason. We went to a few big concerts and the rest were given out to clients and vendors.

Uber wealthy or not...$90 bucks for a pizza and $66 bucks for a six pack of beer is ********! Even if i was a trillionaire, I would not pay that for pizza and beer!
Heck with what those suites cost...the food should be free.

Why don't we all fly to Italy eat pizza and watch the game on TV. It would be cheaper...

At that price, I hope they at least offer you the option to get it cut in 6 slices or 8...

I'd go for 6, I don't think I could eat 8... :D

Seriously, the vending is being handled by the same folks who do the vending in the new Yankmees Stadium, and I've read similar horror stories about the exorbitant prices on their food, so I'm not surprised to read this...

I suspect that most people will come down on Sarge's side, be more outraged about the 66 buck 12 pack than the 90 buck pizza... Sarge has his priorities in order, LOL...

90 bucks for a freakin' pizza ? That's absolutely outrageous.

66 bucks for a 12 pack ? You gotta be kidding. I bought a case for less than 20 bucks the other day.

It's going to be a different Cowboys stadium for sure.

Commanders fans complain about the wine and cheese crowd at games, seems as if the Cowboys are going to be getting the caviar and scones crowd.
