Think about that Giants pass rush you saw tonight, and then think about the possibility of replacing Flozell with totally unproven McQ or Free.

Much as I really hate to spend the cap space losing Flozell at this point would be a very significant risk.

That's probably what's going to happen.

With the G-men winning, they'll have to play every game next year like it was the Super Bowl.

Actually, them winning the Super Bowl will probably be better for the Cowboys than them losing it.

Exactly how? They got a rookie receiver and back in Steve Smith and Bradshaw they're gonna work into their offense for the entire season and Eli isnt gonna feel the same pressure anymore and when Shockey comes back, Im sure he'll get his ish together.

#1 Strahan probably won't be there.

#2 Adams looked very "human" against the Giants in the playoff game.

#3 If our coaching staff think one of the younger tackles can play at an effective level then I'm for it.

#4 Old, expensive players are let go in order to transition to younger, less expensive players.

You guys act like this Giant offense is a reincarnation of the Pats or the Rams... give me a break.

Look at the names on that offensive line and tell me how great this offense is going to be?

To think this offense next year is going to be unstoppable is downright goofy.

Who knows? Toomer may retire too.

The Giants will be tough but we beat them 2 out of 3 this year and only barely lost the one. And that was with a gimpy TO. I am not afraid of them.

I think the East was tough this past season and think it will be as tough next season. To me this is how the east is suppose to be.

The Giants have a very good core of young players and apparently, a very smart GM. Plus, $26 million in cap room.

I'd be very surprised if the Giants fall back. I'm not saying they will win it all again, but I expect a playoff appearance.

Agreed. People that are hoping the Giants fall back aren't going by the facts. After beating us, GB, and NE you can't honestly say they were not the better team or at least deserving(And I still think we outplayed them). Its a question of fortitude. We totally choked, from our coaches to Patrick freaking Crayton, we have no one to blame but ourselves, and they stepped up.

Young QB who you can't argue has started to play better, and had a great post season. VERY Young stable of RBs, Plaxico, Amani (he may be hold but...) Steve Smith looks like a really smart football player, and I know why many of us wanted him out of USC. Their TE looks okay, can't say anything spectacular because I don't know enough. Thier O-line is what impresses me the most.

On D, Strahan shows no sign of slowing down, Tuck, Osi, Robbins, Mitchell, Pierce, etc... then Ross looks like he's going to be good. Can't say much for the rest of their seconday except they shut down or kept in check us, GB (in terrible conditions) and NE.

I hate saying it, but they have talent, and they all aren't first round picks like we seem to think we need.

They are on their upswing just as much as we are. It makes me sick the opportunity we blew, its like the Mavs all over again.

Next year is next year. You have no idea who will emerge. Coughlin was going to be fired two games into this season.

Heck, look at fantasy football. The top 5 running backs all pretty much tanked for alot of the year, other than LT, who still got off to a bad start. My point is, you just don't know.

As a famous annoucer once said; "That's why you play the game."

Not sure you can really say Eli played well in this game. The offense was pretty anemic and he was begging for a pick on the last couple of drives. QB will continue to be a question mark for the G-men heading into next year......

I think the Skins take a step back. I think the Eagles step up. I think the Giants are about the same. And I believe the Cowboys take a step back record-wise as well.

Skins will fall back and out of the playoffs. Eagles about the same, maybe a game or two better. Giants, not so sure. They overachieved, which is not exactly a bad thing. But, will they do it again? I don't think so. They'll win another wildcard. We should be better next season, though our record may not be as good. I see us as a 12-4 team next season with an excellent chance of getting to the Super Bowl. I think we'll improve the talent on an already talented roster.

I think it was Pierce, who was saying that New England wasn't as tough as many made them out to be. He said that they were used to playing a much more physical style of game because they played in the NFC East. In the East, every team is physical.

I thought that was pretty cool.

I'm not surprised by those comments and I totally agree that they do play in a much tougher, more physical, division than the Patriots.

Which, of course, isn't saying much. I mean the Pats do play the Dolphins and the Jets.
