The NFL just gave us a gift this year

The NFL released a statement today to strengthen safety measures on the sidelines and field this year, announcing no mascots or cheerleaders on the sidelines.

No Rowdy! Yes! The curse has been removed! We have a chance to win now, LOL!

Eh. Rowdy wouldn't even need a mask, he wears a head.

Getting rid of mascots just seems dumb. No problem with them social distancing. Cheerleaders too, for that matter.

No Fun League.

I don’t have a problem with mascots at all. But why does America’s Team’s mascot have to look like a drunk clown in a 50 gallon hat, wearing a fake smile? Surely we could do better than that arse clown.

Just read an article that can not be named here.;)

“Per NFL and NFLPA Protocols, there will be no game day entertainment personnel on the field on game days,”

“The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will continue to have an in-person game day presence in the stadium at home games. They will perform from the touchdown decks beyond each end zone for the home games at AT&T Stadium.”

OK a lot of adults don't like Rowdy. Rowdy is primordially for the youth Other than this year because of the obvious reasons, Rowdy has always had a full schedule of appearances. He is requested for appearances by every grade school in the Metroplex beside other civic functions and charity events. Personally I don't care about him or think about him and him being around during games has zero affect on the outcome of the game.

This might indeed be our year. Without Rowdy, will the jinx be lifted? Of course, we have no idea what deal Jerry made with the devil in 1995 for that last Super Bowl.
Or how much he paid O'Donnell!!!!

WTH is wrong with you?

wth is wrong with you....you don’t like the cheerleaders????

I was saying not having rowdy means we also don’t get the cheerleaders....which I would much rather have.

Yeah, Rowdy is kinda lame. Crazy Ray was better. Didn't they used to have someone on a horse too? I'd go back to that.

I’m just sayin’... the last time we didn’t have a mascot... super bowl champs!

Combine this great news with picking up TE Bell from Kansas City, and I’m pretty sure the Lombardi is coming back to the Metroplex baby!!!

He’s requested because he’s the Cowboys mascot, and because he’s the mascot the kids like seeing him. They would love a blue blob if it was mascot rep-Ing the Cowboys.

I always thought his name was *** Whip...that's what they always call him on The Ticket anyway,

I really miss Crazy Ray!

I got to meet Crazy Ray in the Corral (remember that?) at my first ever game at Texas Stadium.

I live in Ohio so it took me some time to get down there but I made several more game trips after that one. Having watched Ray's antics on TV for years it was like meeting a celebrity. The Cowboys beat the Giants on a last second field goal by Chris Boniol (he made 5 that day) and went on to beat Pittsburgh in SB XXX.

I miss Texas Stadium. Jerryworld is an impressive building but Texas Stadium was a better place to watch a game, which is why most people buy a ticket.
