I'll never understand any one who can't look at his career and say what you just said. I really can't. Look at what he's had around him through the years and the injuries he's played with. He doesn't care?

He has had more weapons on offense than most QB's in the same tenure.

Now to say he doesn't care maybe was a bit harsh. He just doesn't have it. What he is, is a serviceable QB. Nothing that will take you to that next level, like he is paid to do. Our D is not good enough to allow a serviceable qb. But in the end this is what we have and this is what we have to hope for. As they say, hope died last and I'm hoping he can bring us into the playoffs.

He's had weapons correct. What he hasn't had was a coach willing to use a RB and a GM who could care less about protecting his QB, an O line.
He has that now and we were playing for the NFC east lead today. The WHOLE team stunk today, period. Manning nor Brady would have fared any better today.

T. Williams is trash.. i was thinking about the plays hes made and i realized that most of them are whenever the play breaks and Romo makes time then finds fim

We've competed for the nfce title the last few years. Nothing is different we just control the clock more now with the run game. When we can

That alone is a big change. Tell me this cause no one will answer, what part of the team showed up today? the only thing I can think of is special teams because we didn't allow them to score on us that way.

The team was all around poor. But our captain oh captain and highly paid qb was making throws as bad as Weeden yet makes 5-10x more per year. My whole point is, if this is what we can come to expect from romo, which I'm pretty sure the data supports. Then why not bring in an average qb and pay the $ to areas of weakness on D

So what about the eight games he helped win this season?

He win the games this team is supposed to win. What we need from him is when is when it's time to shine and build momentum to produce. He doesn't. He has was bailed out in Seattle by an amazing catch by Williams. Today we needed him and he choked hard. Zach fricken mettenberger put up 350 yds on this D!!! Romo just doesn't have it. I admire you still have faith in the man but we've tried to give him pieces on offense for years and year after year it's the same old thing. Hes literally been called out for changing plays that cost us, remember Murray flipping his lid. Dude is in the same league as tannehill and Dalton as far as I'm concerned

Well your going to get your wish soon and Romo will be gone. Let's revisit the issue then. We will have plenty of games to blame who ever the new QB is.

Sure I'll give you that against the 3-8 giants.

lets talk 49ers or almost losing to the Rams. Now I know this was his second worse game but when other players look at him and say "g*d ******" "*** was that". That leads me to believe this team knows he's a JAG. Imagine someone saying that to Brady or manning or brees or rivers or wilson for that matter. No they wouldn't because they know those guys would be pissed off enough it's not worth it. I believe if you could have a beer during a game romo would just walk over and sit down and have a beer because hey, it is what it is "I've got to do better... But hey it doesn't matter I'm getting paid like a top dog"

Houston, Seattle.

O line looked abysmal....I think that was good for them to get their stuff handed to them. Let's see how they respond the next two weeks. I know they are embarrassed. Romo looked horrible because he couldn't trust the line and couldn't set his feet to throw the ball. Murray was fine. Williams needs to get benched. Total lack of effort on his part. Even when he caught the ball no fight. He waited for the defender to grab him and push him out of bounds. No move no nothing. Beasly is to small to play this game. 2 fumbles in 3 weeks for a back up is horrible. That expirament is over. I wanna see more of Harris. Why is it we get crap refs in back to back weeks? Still pissed about that penalty on Harris. What rule did that violate?

Tried to start a thread about this to get the answer. I know you can chip the gunners to keep them from downing the ball, so what's the problem there? No helmet to helmet... just a solid hit by Harris.

From what I saw, the problem was Nolan didn't have his head on a swivel and got cleanly leveled.

Or has this been changed?

this offensive scheme to me still look like garretts. We hardly ever attack the middle of the field. Dez and twill barely go across the middle or run inside routes. This is why defensive corners are always drapped to our wr's. I swear i can almost call dez and twill route before the run them. We never try to run plays that get our playmakers open and the ball in there hands. When the last time you seen a pick play run for dez?

We basically run something like the 90s offense. Just try to beat teams with talent.

Don't get me wrong. Romo is our best chance right now to make a playoff push. I just think it's time the FO looks hard at the replacement for romo sooner than later. I still have hopes we can make the playoffs but we must win out

The offensive line was particularly disappointing and Romo looked scared. No positives today.

The whole team looked like a car wreck in slow motion.

It was aweful.

But Frankly..

I expected the big step back from our team.

This is who we are.

Under-Achiever's is our only ambition as a team.

And like it or not..

Tony Romo just is a disaster in big, meaningful games like this was.

And like they have been at the end of the last 3 years.

This is so sad for us true-blue fans.

To have this team play like it does.

So this means we better get ourselves two elite WRs.

That's the problem, we don't need another elite receiver, we need an offensive coach who can attack a team. Chip made our coaches look stupid out there today. I was watching that game just feeling sad that Chip can take a guy like Sanchez and, with the help of our defense, make him look like an all pro. But that's the difference between our offense and theirs. Their offense attacks the defense and is creative, our offense relies on our player beating the man in front of them. No creativity. Sometimes we can beat the man in front of us (in Seattle) and sometimes we can't (today). Our offense has the players and the skills but lacks good game plans. Against other predictable teams we are great but when we face creative teams it shows our coaches aren't on their level.

This is the first game I feel like Marinelli got his butt handed to him coaching wise. That sucks, but that's on the other thread. Today sucked. pretty depressing game, and it makes me think that I'll be dead before Dallas wins another title

What's strange about our offense is , if a play worked well, we don't see it again. You would think if a play got you big chunks of yards, they try it again until it is stopped.

Flip side of that is , we do try to run a play that didn't work over and over again. It's crazy.
