The offensive Line

This also falls on upper management and ownership. Season after season no serious shoring up and quality backup for run defense. Don't stack long shots as starters on the offensive line. At some point you have to cut or reduce the role of aging veterans on that line. Can we get rid of that old fart offensive line coach Mike Solari who coached in the 70s. When you get into the post season you come up against superior defenses as well as offenses. We are kings of the regular season. Paupers of the post season.

The pass blocking was good. If the OL had a bad day yesterday, Dallas would've lost by 70

I was surprised how well the O-line held up. Dak took unnecessary sacks. He also threw some ill advised passes, so his issues cannot be blamed on the line. He had a few good scrambles and he had a few clutch passes, but the whole game plan stunk. Why did Quinn change the defense? Why was Turpin running back kickoffs? Why was there NO urgency with this team?

Almost missed the /s at the end haha.

He just doesn’t move people off the ball
No and he hasn't for several years now (other than a few short stretches).

People are so attached to what he used to be, they can't see beyond it.

He stopped being a top 5 guard two/three years ago. He honestly played better at RT when he was forced to go there because of injury. But i cant count how many times i see him in good position with no movement

Seems amazing to me to see a topic like this. I thought the offensive line was single strong point of that game. They were good in both run blocking (which has not been that common this year) as well as pass blocking whilst the rest of the team crumbled. Dak generally picks apart absolutely everyone when he has time in the pocket but this game was one of the rare ones where he wasn't on target even when he had no pressure (which was the vast majority of play)

I've been getting told how much I don't know about football for a couple years now because I said he wasn't what he was. Many insist he is still the best G in the league. In his worst year ever, he gets voted 1st team All Pro. Unbelievable.
