Southern Miss DL Draper Riley met with the Packers, Browns, Cowboys, Jets and Raiders during the College Gridiron Showcase.

The 6-foot-4, 309-pound Riley was an honorable mention All-Conference USA pick last season after posting 4.5 TFL with a half-sack. Riley has the frame to handle either 4-3 DT duties or 3-4 DE responsibilities at the next level.

Name: Cole Madison

School: Washington State

Ht: 6050

Wt: 307

Arm: 33 3/4

Hand: 10 3/8

Tues: Madison is not a great athlete but he worked hard and gets the most from his ability. Better in a small area and gets the job done.

Wed: Gets the most from his ability. Quick, explosive and fundamentally sound. Blocks with good lean, effectively gets his hands into opponents and controls them at the point. Has not played like a powerhouse or great athlete but gets the job done.

Thurs:

Team Interests: Dallas Cowboys

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline notes that the Cowboys are a "name to keep in mind" when it comes to Boise State LB Leighton Vander Esch.

"The more tape scouts watch on Vander Esch the more they like him, and I fully expect the athletic linebacker to blow up the combine," Pauline wrote from the Senior Bowl. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder is a staunch defender against the run, one who possesses palatable length and measurables for NFL play. As Pauline alludes to, the first big step in Vander Esch's evaluating process will come at the NFL Scouting Combine next month. A first-round selection should very much be in play for the Boise State standout. If he falls to Day 2, we don't expect him to sit around for too longer in the second round.

Interesting kid for sure. Obviously he can get after the QB - but would his size allow him to fit in our scheme? Maybe he could play SAM and be a nickel rusher?

Not sure he'd be worth the 1st round selection due to the limited snaps he'd see.
